Saw that the dudes on Giant Bomb had to order theirs off Amazon...
With little to no promo for this game and gaming sites having to buy their own copies, it shows Activision to be the embarrassed parent to their underachieving son. "I'm sorry Mr and Mrs Activision, but Tony has been on a slippery slope since 4th Grade. I think it's time for you to think about what is best for him..."
For shame.

Wait a minute, in the US this thing is $120 right? Which is about £70, but how come we have to pay nearly £100.
I'm not sure why i'm complaining as i know i'm never going to get it.

haha That can't be right, if it is for that guy then whoever is selling decks at that price is cheating the man for sure.
I only skate shop decks and they are 40 straight.

With $119 I could go buy a real skateboard."
I think in my country TH:Ride will cost something about $150-200 .. but I wouldn't buy it even if it cost $40

That is something that you REALLY do not need to wish for.

There is a pre-"review" in the blog that is probably relevant to those of you that skate...and Skate.
May be biased...because once you say you are objective you can't be (think deep about it philosophy majors)...but...hope you "skate" "loose" trucks...

I bought it, I know, I'm a loser. But my 3 year old son was excited for it. Anyway, I thought I would try it out.
It's cool enough for what it is. You know what you are getting before you buy it, so you can't be let down, if you expect it to be great you're an idiot. The first thing that really sucks is the load time, it feels like 5 minutes to load a level, seriously its probably somewhere around 2 minutes. Also I haven't been able to figure out how to do 180's. I hope I can figure this out. My only hope for this game was that I could do backside lips by jumping and turning sideways, which it doesn't look like I can, at least not in any way that feels like riding a deck on my carpet and pretending to do a backside lip.
One thing that is kind of cool, is I can do 360 flips, every time, in the exact way I would do a 360 flip, granted they look like * in the game.
Over all, of course this game sucks, and it will probably be 99.99 soon, and 79.99 soon after that. But its really funny to see my 3 year old son riding the board and kicking his foot along the side.
It would be dope, if you actually had to flip the board to do tricks, could do 180s then do a switch kick flip, but its super dumbed down. whatever, its fun enough for what it is, bony cawk knew he could never compete with skate at least hes trying something new, maybe some day someone can improve upon this and give a crazy skate simulator.

If you popped a high enough ollie and then landed on the nose
would it register a ollie then an automatic nollie right after the ollie ingame.
cause you hold back on the tail to ollie and on the nose to nollie.
HAHAHAHAHAAA
