I can't get a game to connect to save my *. Same problem as when BF1943 came out...

I just got done playing the beta and reached rank 8. I unlocked many things including a few weapons and some abilities. I then rejoined a match and lost all my stats and unlocks, wondering if anyone else is having the same problem or its just part of the beta and we can perhaps wait a patch to fix.

had that happen to me reaver as well last night. scored close to 10000 points, but didn't get any of them at the end of the round. there is a beta forum somewhere (DICE/EA twitter posted the link last night) that you are supposed to use to report any problems.

Can someone playing the beta let me know if the comms are open to all players, or is it just the squad comms as per BFBC1 ?. Thanks.

rofl they do want me, but i didnt have a beta code till EA sent me 1 today which is weird because i didnt ask for one

Glad you're in on it! I just got in a couple of games this afternoon - I need to adjust the brightness - the glare is killing me. It's worse than when I was really over in the sandbox...

More realistic less, fun. Very long rounds, getting 52 kills is not nearly as hard as in BFBC1. Spawn killing is easier. I ended up in a tank with Gerffknuckle and he already knew where to park his tank to kill everybody spawning. I guess he went something like 60/5. I got 27/2 so that helped me reach a KDR of 1

In summary I am not really hooked yet but maybe I will be. Arica harbour is much too bright.

Recoil is nice, adds a positive feeling or realism.

I still suck on foot, had some terrible first rounds (played my first game against guys I know from BC1 who are really good - blackrose, vile, fido iirc etc. and who had played the beta for some hours). Played some more yesterday and sat in the tank nearly all the time. Had a K/D each round between 3,5 and 8. Don't know if tanking is easier in BC2, but if you got a feel for the MBTs and the controls, you can rack up a lot of kills (without spawn-camping!!).

Still have to get better on foot and need to find me the best control-configuration.

I love it. Takes awhile to get used to but its really fun!

how are the choppers chalupa?? from what i gathered in the video the crosshairs aren't static, ie there's some lee-way for aiming??

No choppers on the beta map Hopefully when we all get bored, they'll give us another map.

You must be doing something wrong Nate588 .... Make sure ur not going to the PS store and your downloading from the "account management" screen. Make sure you are in the correct region for your code. (yes theyre regionally specific) in other words, u cant use a EU code in North America, and vice versa..

And as for the barbies, if there are any other North America barbies looking for a beta key, i have 1 remaining, somebody please claim it.. wouldnt want it to go to waste.

played for about 30 minutes and it did my head in, dont like the weapons at all, aimings a bit weird either my sensativity is set to high or i seem to over aim, not into the tanks at all, i think BFBC2 will play better on a PC than a console.
i didnt like 1943 one tiny bit, i hope i dont feel the same way about BFBC2 otherwise i may be hanging up my barbie tags for good
