Mine for the Cowboys would be Leon Lett. Everyone knows about his Super Bowl blunder where he tried the Michael Irvin strut after recovering a fumble and had the ball knocked out of his hand for a touchback. He's also known for the "muff" on the blocked field goal the follow Thanksgiving game against the Dolphins that cost them the game.

Leon Lett was a really good player for Dallas, but he's always known for those two plays.

A good example of a player I can think of on another team is Jim Marshall of the Vikings who's known for the "Wrong Way Run" even though he played in 282 consecutive games for Minnesota, among other records he held in his career.

Leon Lett was just a talented moron. How can Thomas Hollywood Henderson not be the #1 most infamous player in Cowboy history? Or maybe Clint Longley?

Don't you mean MORTON Anderson? Ken Anderson was a QB for the Bengals in the 70's and 80's.

this sunday is the first time they meet since the incident.

i hope justice is served.

haynesworth is a b****.

Actually Haynesworth and Gurode are good friends now.

i dont buy it. they say they are "cool" w/each other and prob are to a certain extent, but something like that cant (& shouldnt) be forgotten. of course everyone wants to look like they are taking the high road and being the better person, but id definitely be out for some payback. f*** haynesworth.

should have been a year ban with no certainty of returning to the NFL.

Hollywood was a good answer. forgot about him. definitely belongs up there. crazy characther.my vote would go to Michael Irvin. between the hotel room bust, the fur coat to court, the slicing of mciver's neck in camp, the supposed (and later proven false) accusations of * with erik williams, the DAL police officer putting out a contract for his hit, etc, etc. all while being the heart & soul of the SB teams. eveyones got an opinion on Irvin. good or bad.

I actually meant to type GREG Anderson. Sorry. He made EVERY SINGLE field goal that season, and then missed the last one in the NFC Championship game.

FAIL!

Dallas has had the luxury of having a lot of "Infamous" players. I consider these players to be people that when you talk about them, it isn't just about football

Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson
Duane Thomas
Deion Sanders could be considered one, and he basically a merc for hire.
Michael Irvin
Randy "the Manster" White
even Tony Romo to some extent, because of his off the field exposure, and his incredibly bad timed NATIONALLY TELEVISED screw-ups (much like how Leon Lett became infamous) in the field.

I wouldn't call Clint Longley infamous, just cuz he only made an impact in one game. He shined in ONE game and then started talking trash to Roger Staubach. douche!

The Steelers, especially the 70's Steelers have a long list of infamous players I think.

Greg. Gary. Who really cares? How am I "fail" ? I didn't cost anyone a shot at the super bowl.

You've also been reported for violation of the TOS, use of vulgar language.

Thanks, god bless.
