LH, yesterday i played someone and he tried to imitate Rudolpho at PB #3 and it was so funny to see how his shot goes against the tree and drops back to where he started. Please, excuse me when I get into this great post of hoghead, cause there is so less to laugh about in life. I respect you and your golf skills but please, calm down and show a little sense of humour.

ill laugh anyday, but hogs post got way outta hand and wasnt even that funny to me since i was being serious. no one seriously replied to this thread, which to me is ridiculous.

hey this is a grt thrd hogs method combined with leetargos method and i havent hit a tree since. they saved me the $5000.00 i was going to send g for the intent.exe. grt advice guys thx.

Look at it this way LH, how long do you think it would take (and computational power) to map every brach, twig and leaf of every tree on every course of the game? Alternatively they can just put a single object there that says "This is a hazard, dont hit it here" and punish you if you do. Hitting close to trees is a risk, if you dont want to take the risk give them a wider berth.

If you want to talk about unfair, how about me losing to a player of very similar skill to myself because he had 3 AHO's and I dont get them?

I can't even remember what this thread was originally about. Something about trees and LongHitter not being able to avoid them.

Okay, I'll be serious for a minute. Trees may not seem like real life trees, but they are fair. Same for everyone.

LH, this thread will never die coz it is soooo much fun.

I just wish EA would make em more realistic. hate it when trying to fade around trees and if it gets in 1 foot of the tree it goes falling down below into the forest.

LongHitter, honestly, I don't think it's a matter of them being unfair. If you are fading that close, then that's a poor shot in my opinion. Also, since you know it's a risky move to get that close, you have to make a decision on whether or not you want to risk it, which makes it a part of playing well.
