falls nicht, scheiss drauf, ich weiss dass es nicht an meinem rechner liegt, weil ich es auch auf nem anderen probiert habe, mit XP, Vista und 7, und weil alle youtube videos dieses lag auch zeigen, und das reicht mir. Die Frage ist nur, ob das lag von shift für die allgemeinheit tolerierbar ist, oder nicht. Ich brauche dir nicht zu sagen, das es für mich VIEL zu groß ist, aber ich kann dir sagen, dass ich alle, die es nicht bemerken, für noobs halte. Noch schlimmer sind die, die es nicht bemerken und sagen, dass sie keins haben. Mann mann mann, wo soll das nur enden?

Um, for some reason i can't get the patch. I've restarted my PS3, restarted the game, and taken the game out and put it back in and it still hasn't prompted me to install the patch.

Actually, the patch doesn't make that much difference to me.

The wheel animation is still messed up and "forklifting" other cars is still possible, too.

I'm using the Logitech G25 and it's the latter one.
Even with turning lock set to its minimum of 270 degree the animation is only half that far of the real turning. The faster I am, the worse it gets. The driving itself is ok, though (but it's affected rather by steering sens anyway). Actually the turning lock should be set to 900° for G25 but then I would almost see no turning animation at all. (side note: nope, I have not set any steering dead zone)

I have the same problem it does not start. I live in Belgium. Is the patch already online in Europe?

i live in P.R. and there are still no patch here.

with 900° you would need a very large front wheel turning lock, and as you can't adjust this for stock cars, you probably would use a smaller turning angle for the G25. I use 360°, 50% sensitivity, 0% steering sensitivity, feels fine for me. On PC you can modify the turning angle for the cockpit animation, but the lag still remains, and the lag affects the whole game!

Did you notice a delay before the patch?
If you set your G25 at 120° turning angle, do you notice that it is gone?
It should be far more than what you would expect even at those PS3 fps rates.

i have the same problem...i have USA version of Shift (i'm from Argentina) and i have an usa account, but still it doesn't prompt me to update it when i start the game...

To all the people that have it installed, what version do you have?

version 1.02 is the update.

dynamics have improved dramatically. now it's actually fun to play and not plain frustrating. good job there but still a lot of work ahead, like missing hoods and trunk lids on my 240SX in replays.
