People think its too easy trying to score short side now? Try going back and playing the first 2 tuners...

Overall I think each tuner has been an improvement on the previous one

You seem to be the minority on this one.

I've played a few games with current tuner and like the game currently. Like it better over 1.02 and up

Many people ask me why I sign off 'til we meet again.' It's because goodbye is so final.

i was fine with v1.00, i even told a buddy of mine they should leave it like this and hav no more tuners and after i said that i told him that theyre going to send a tuner that will screw the game up like they did last year. And look I WAS RIGHT

Buy NHL 11- $70
Buy the microsoft points for the boosts- $20
Buy a new controler- $50
Get looped and chuck your controler- Priceless!

I feel like forced cross crease plays are going in a lot more and the stop and go with the puck is insanely fast now. people keep doing a ridiculously fast spin move in online versus

For me tuner version 1.01 is perfect with a couple of costume sliders. The game plays authentic they way I have it set up. The only reason why I changed it from tuner 1.00 to 1.01, I found there was a little more scoring and not as many repetitive goals.

To answer the question that this thread asks, I guess it wasn't arcadey enough.

These are my observations on offline play (I refuse to play online, no one understands teamwork or fairplay).

After about 40 odd games in BAP the AI seems to have "bedded in" and I'm getting some awesome games.

Tried it on Superstar (I've played the other games to death and I'm a s**t hot sniper) for the challenge and had to abandon it. Whatever other settings or tuners I used you just get thrashed by the opposition. It took 9 games for us (LA Kings) to win a game. We had about 4 goals in 9 games.

Switched it over to Allstar, used the latest tuner, and changed game speed to 0, and a few other settings to make it harder. Totally different game, and the shot counts are a lot better now.

I just wonder if it takes a while for the AI to sort itself out. It seemed to in the last two games as well. I remember winning very few games in the first season, and then coming out with an awesome second season.

It's very hard to gauge what the tuners are actually doing differently, but considering what you lot have said I might switch back to tuner 1.00.

Loving the game though, every game is different and you geniuinely do get some great unexpected moments. Difficulty seems better too, 46 games in and I only have 18 goals which is an all time low record for me
