Does anyone really have any sympathy for someone complaining about about stick lifts and poke checks being too effective?

A little advice, there is no need to boost any stat to 99. Seriously. The difference between 95 and 99 is so minuscule that it is a total waste of experience to bring anything that high. It's even questionable to put anything above 90, when you consider balancing other attributes in their respective category.

Those extra 9 points you put to stick checking should maybe go to discipline and defensive awareness. Your player will have the same amount of effectiveness with their stick checking with less chance of penalty that way.

Yea I don't know how anyone could complain about it being too effective. Watch some hockey this game needs more defensive controls, since it doesn't I would say make poke checking more effective. Wayy to many 1 man shows with the puck glued to their stick. I love this game though...offline it plays great...humans like probably this guy ruin the game with their figure skating xxskillzzxxx. lol

my legend card plus boost gives my dman so many points that i can 99 almost anything...points are no biggie anymore

You are 100% right 95 works justs as well.

Yeah but defensive defensemen suffer in the athletic category so there is a trade off

Despite all this games flaws it's still lots of fun with tons of reply value. Personally I switch back and fourth between EASHL and BAGM with a lil HUT sprinkled in there for variety. I'd play BAP too if it were more interesting.

This game feels like playing hockey with ankleburners who can hardly skate or pass the puck. It doesn't remind me of my hockey playing days.
