Thx for the interaction! It is little things like this that start to scratch the surface of the hard shells people have rightfully built up around themselves in regards to this franchise.

Hello and Welcome Rich.

First of all thanks for taking the time to politely salute the community and introduce yourself. As a fan and modder for the last 10 years, and since the beginning of MOH, lack of communication at some point was in part, the reason for previous disastrous results in the franchise. I hope we can sort out that part. At the moment, you are all taking the right first steps to approach the community.

Now, I would like to make you a question. From your point of view as a developer, what is that connection point between this game and the prevoius titles ?

I created another thread in this forum with some basic community MOH feedback that might help, or explain what we expect in this new game, and why not, help you somehow...

regards and good luck,

Krug

First off let me say thanks for the post and its great to See the MOH team posting in the forums and looking forward to hearing more and seeing some more information and screenies of the project..

That said i also have to say please PLEASE Please ! Tell me you guys learned your lessons from Medal of Honor :airborne and the total disaster that release became and the horrible taste it left in MOH fans mouths and the total lack of support and communication from EA with that title..

I love the MOH series and have and still play the original game and the expansions online..and i look forward to a new MOH ..

But Old mistakes EA made before with Airborne will not and have not been forgotten and although i am very happy about your post I will definitely not be letting EA off that easy and not mentioning the last disaster..

Cheers and looking forward to seeing what comes down the pipes.

Hi thanks for the info Rich

I just want to know if this MOH will be in all the consoles or just 360, ps3 and Pc, because i just have the Wii and the Pc, and i will be very excited to know if this game will come to the Wii, the CoD Modern Warfare come to this console few time ago, and well, the nintendo Wii could handle very very well i have to accept that the game should decrease the graphics but the gameplay is the same as the original

Also, Im said that because i still playing MOH Heroes 2, and in my opinion is one of the best online multiplayer FPS on Wii

Hello Rich,

Firstly I would like to thank you for showing your customers some respect, it is something that most Devs/Publishers have forgotten, including EA.

Please keep us up to date and don't drag this on forever.
Will the game have dedicated servers? This would have to top the list of questions for PC users and the sooner that question is answered the sooner you can define your market. It's pointless having everyone excited at the prospect of once again playing MOH only to pi*ss us all off at the last moment.
Surely EA have planned that far, please tell us where EA see this game going?

Give the community real answers, it will filter out the guys who may not like the direction it's heading but also provide you with feedback from RELEVANT people, happy with that direction.

Don't be fooled, it will be a hard sell. I and many others have not forgotten the way MOH series went from perfect health to death.

CHEERS and the best wishes for a great game

Believe me, we want to answer all of your questions (as gamers). But, we're still a business and thus we still have to follow rules. As soon as we are allowed to release info, you guys will be the very first to know!

Yah, all you guys are chatty Kathy's at first, well knowing the past...we'll just see how well and how long...this continues.
So, objective, hype a crowd...spark interest...generate a buzz and questions, skirt the most important ones, and leave'em hanging on very little and in disappointment at release, is commenced. Congratulations.

EA has done nothing to keep the respect and trust of their MOH community. Reboot MOH all you want... just another nice way of saying yet again "MOH things will be different this time...for the umpteenth time."

All I will need to see in the end is a good run down of the game facts and some perspective from someone who will keep it real (nominee)... (rudedog?) when its ready .period.

Hiya!
This constructive discussion sounds good.
Just keep the priority in line,

1. Gameplay
2. Gameplay

9. Chrome and candies

Amen, you guys have a long way to go before I would even consider touching another moh title after getting burned by pacific war and Airborne.

Nice to see some communication going on here

Well well, it will take a lot of "work" to get me exited over yet another MoH title, as all of them was rather disapointing after MoH:AA (The very first)

But today ill join the upcoming hype a little bit.

From my more than 10 years into online multiplayer fps gaming, ive seen a lot of games come and go.
As to take an example, look at Counter strike, well people who played the past MoH's might dislike it (myself included) but that game have it all to be competetive. But i liked MoH:AA so much more because of the gameplay, the teamplay needed in it, and would gladly have bought a update of it. See, if you make a world class multiplayer, you could easily earn some extra money by adding some more maps etc.

The priority line for multiplayer:

1 - Gameplay (Would like to see the classic MoH:Allied assult gameplay added again and a important note: NO PRONE, as it promotes camping a lot.)

2 - Aiming (No ADS on other weapons than the sniper, that would get the "close combat fights" back into the game.)

3 - Maps (Focus on chokepoints, as it intensifies the overall experience and leave out the shady/grassy maps)

4 - Anticheat (A proper one, dont know much about the subject)

4 - Perks and customized weapons (Also leave that out, because, if you want to make it competitive, people would want the same weapon as the opponent.)

5- Killstreaks/Deathstreaks (No killstreak bonusess, because it also promotes camping aswell, and as for deathstreaks, they are really just a stupid award.)

If you find this post informative, interesting or that you actually just have read it, then please let me know.
