Definitely, when Joe Rogan was trying to p*mp Sadollah and some great Muay Thai fighter, I definitely had to turn it off.

I think its hilarious when they hype Sadollah's muay thai, during the Blackburn fight they said something like he was one of the best muay thai strikers in MMA. Sadollah leg-kicks his way to boring victories, nothing special.

Weak event. Main card was pretty darn boring with the exception of Siver/Winner, nice submission. The preliminary fights they showed after the main event weren't bad, but not all that great either.

Pacquiao/Margarito was a solid PPV. I don't really care about Manny winning another title, mainly because its just another alphabet title and doesn't really add anything special to his fights since they have enough hype surrounding them already. I wonder what's next for Pacquiao, I doubt Mayweather will come out to play, so maybe a rematch with Cotto or a fight with Mosley?

No he said he knew who he was, he couldn't put his face to the name. You take what Dana and the UFC says to the heart too much

I wouldn't mind seeing Manny vs Yuriorkis Gamboa. He's more of Manny's size and he's super technical as well. IMO Gamboa is probably the toughest test out there for Manny right now. Some people might say Mayweather is his toughest test but I don't think Mayweather has a high enough work rate to be able to beat Manny. Mayweather isn't anywhere near the puncher of a Margarito and he doesn't put out the volume of punches that Manny does, so I don't see how Mayweather could win that fight.

Whether or not he was being sarcastic or he actually didn't know who Haye was really doesn't matter. I was making the distinction between his stance toward Haye then and his love affair with him now.

You need to just stop talking about UFC hell stop watching it if it makes you so angry all the time. All you do is bash which makes no sense why someone would actually hate a promotion. If you always have a problem with it,STFU and stop watching. Simple solution. All you do is * about what they say or do.

That time of the month, huh? I guess everybody in this thread should just quit watching UFC as well because they all thought that the card was bunk.

You talk about people "hating" an organization, you need to look in the mirror bro. Your like a slave to the UFC, they could put Rosie O'donnell vs Andy Di*k as the main event and you'd think that was a good card. Get a life man and get all this organization vs organization nonsense out of your mind because that's the only place it exist.

Oh great, how original...a period joke good one

Anyways, its the same crap coming from you every single UFC event. UFC sucks this sucks that, they're nto good overatted, strikeforce dream and bellator guys are better this that and the other. Its annoying every UFC thread you have to ALWAYS bash them it seems. My conclusion, STFU and don't watch it if it"offends" you so much. If you don't like it by all means go ahead dislike it btu to bash at any given oppertunity(like some people here) its ridiculous and annoying. This isn't even about me disagreeing with you or agreeing , its just the fact you always come in like a whiny little girl all the time. Get over it dude

Also I'm a slave? Why? Do I bash strikeforce,Dream and Bellator? Hell no. If a show sucks Ill say it, I'm not afraid to butlike I said, to bash an org at any given chance its PATHETIC. You need to take yown advice dude, because its all the same crap with you. You go out of your way to talk down about UFC fighters at any given chance. I suggest you do yourself a favor and get a life and stop telling other people to instead of looking at yourself

Both of you to be perfectly honest.

I think it's true that everything Dana White says has to be taken with a pinch of salt. The guy is a walking mouth, and he's incredibly good at it, which is what they pay him for. As far as Haye getting a UFC fight, I could definitely see it happening. It would likely bring in even more UK viewers, particularly from those who haven't really bothered with it, preferring boxing. Probably the viewpoint he would take, but from a fan point of view, I think Haye could do alright. Might fight a bit like Chuck if he can learn to defend takedowns and get up off of his back. Problem is, starting at 31, I think he'd probably be too old to really pick up everything he needs to. Might not be giving him much credit though. I think if he got put up against guys like Bonnar there'd be some fun, but the top tier guys wouldn't have much trouble.

I think Haye could do well. Randy started at 33, Bas started at 28, those were definitely different times then but it's also a different time in terms of how people train now. I don't know if i'd compare him to Chuck because Chuck actually had a wrestling background, I think he'd be more like a Tim Sylvia. I think if you put him at a camp like AKA where they would force him to become a good wrestler then he'd be a great MMA fighter, if not a champion. He seems like an athletic guy, i'm sure it wouldn't be hard for him to pick up the wrestling.

Yeah, perhaps. If it's true that he's had at least some experience with grappling through judo, I imagine he could do alright. Not sure about him being the champion, but it would always be nice to see another brit come into the UFC, or high level MMA in general, and if he can do it through a boxing background all the better.

No. But then again; around here, with some of the more insecure posters you just can't think the UFC is better, or say a whole lot of positive about them.

They have to constantly flash their elitist prowess in these discussions to validate that what they think is the best; is really true. They fit this in between praying to their God: Fedor, and unwinding by watching all their saved 'youtube' videos of 'BloodstainLane' to pump themselves up.

Every day is a holiday for them.

They also swear to fight the evils of Brock Lesnar, and 'Tapout' T-shirts.

I think my insecurity is justified. Fedor doesn't have a loud, bald promoter that tries to sweep talented UFC fighters under the rug in defense of his product. The sad fact is, Dana has waaaay too much power over casual fans. With one expletive-riddled quote, he can do a lot of damage, or he can make you believe Randy Couture is a contender in the LHW division.

The UFC does not need to be talked up or defended. Any misconceptions about the UFC are completely in the UFC's favor or completely harmless. On the other hand, misconceptions about MMA outside the UFC are a concern. There really is legitimate harm being done when organizations or fighters outside the UFC aren't getting the credit they deserve.

It's like white people getting offended by white jokes. White people ruled the world for the majority of the earth's history, so they aren't in any position to be concerned. Other races are effected much more negatively by common inaccuracies spreading around, and it is much more appropriate to be defensive about it.
