Some of you folks really deserve the "if you don't like it, don't play it" attitude.
This game is really really sweet WITHOUT a wheel!
Thanks for the update Drew. You guys are doing so much more for the community than a lot of other games. I, personally, appreciate you and not so secretly want to give you all a hug.

First off, thank you Criterion for at least recognizing the consumer and working on a patch.
I unfortunately would have to say the same as many though, until wheel gets added, no buy.
Eagerly awaiting the patch. I do hope it comes before GT5 rolls out, I have a feeling a lot of people will miss out on this if they can't use their wheel in time.
Thanks again!!!

Seriously, no support for Logitech's flagship wheel? Having been an avid NFS series fan since the original on PS1, I must add that lack of support for Logitech wheels in NFS: HP is extremely frustrating. I hope that a patch comes out very soon, as I purchased the game for my PS3 assuming that my Logitech G27 would work just fine.

Wow.... EPIC FAIL...
What a HUGE disappointment. Just when Shift injects some hope into the fan base, you come out with this piece of *.
I really REALLY wish I could get my money back.
The fact that my G27 isn't supported is pretty much a slap in the face.
I guess I'll just go back to playing Shift... and HOPE that you don't * up Shift 2

Well thanks for nothing EA. I preordered NFS Hot Pursuit and today it arrived by courier. I was shocked when I installed the game and it didn't recognize my Logitech Wheel. Before I preordered the game I contacted EA Support to ask if this game would support my Logitech Wheel and was directed to the forums as a means of obtaining an answer, I realize now that the support tech did not provide a simple yes or no answer because I would not have purchased the game if he had provided the information I had requested. You may have gotten my money this time EA but I won't make the same mistake twice. Enjoy your ill gotten gain you won't be getting any more. A severely disappointed customer...Reid

Just gonna add my "me too" epic fail. Ignore the rant if you want.
(1) Every freakin' racing game I have ever played on the PS3 supports the Logitech wheels.
(2) Every freakin' NFS game I've played on the PS3 supports the Logitech wheels. I verified this when I put Shift in my PS3 to troubleshoot.
(3) I got NFS:HP for PS3 because GT5 wasn't out yet and I couldn't wait. Paid my $60, when I coulda got it for $50 if I waited for shipping. Now I gotta wait because THE GAME IS FREAKIN' BROKEN. So, at a minimum, you've cost me $10.
Sorry. If you don't support the industry standard wheels, your racing game is BROKEN. How many wheels are there? How many top wheels are there? This is a fiasco that leaves an evil taste in my mouth and makes me want to avoid games by this developer (Criterion - which made a game that supports Logitech wheels I hear) ever again. Or at least until they are down to $20 used at Game Stop.

A racing game without a racing wheel................what were you guys thinking??
This is the biggest blunder in gaming I have ever heard of.
So you say it does support some wheels. PLEASE give us a detailed list of what wheels will work while you fix your dumb a$$ mistake. I have yet to see such a list come from anyone????????

There we go...maybe now they'll fix it...G25, G27, Driving Force GT, AND force feedback with 900 degree rotation and manual shifting. ...better hurry before GT5 is out! (maybe convince the devs to fix World and add GT support too...wishful thinking)

I never post anywhere but had to in this case. You guys really messed up by not supporting Logitech wheels. What in the world were you thinking? I would not think that you would want your reputation damaged this bad. I have Need For Speed Shift and Hot Pursuit. Just bought a Logitec Driving Force wheel today to enhance Hot Pursuit driveabiliy. Guess what? The jokes on me!!! P.S. Won't happen again !!!!

Wow! I see the word has gotten out. I received a similar response earlier this week on Facebook. I was also greatly disappointed when I got home after a midnight release and sat down in my racing set up only to find out I could not even start the game with one of my four G25 wheels.
If i could have spun my tires all the way back to Games Stop to get my money back before the doors closed, at that moment, I might have. Shift at least had some support. I don't like to mention this but look at GT for and example if necessary, they got a lot right as far as wheel support. Arcade racer or not wheel support should be mandatory.
I have said it many times, each genre or type of game should have certain features standard, period! All the extra stuff should be just that, extra. Every racing game should have good mainstream wheel support with button reconfiguration, dead zone and sensitivity adjustment, Offline split screen multi player, and linked system offline multi player for head to head arcade like competition, just to name a few.
Try Golf with a baseball bat, basketball with a bowling ball, or Football on pavement. If I set a car in my recreation room, with a wheel and everything, In front of a 100" HD screen with 7.2 surround sound with two 15" subwoofers, I don't want to use a madstick!
So yes I'm glad it's being addressed, just hope we don't have to wait too long or go threw this ever again for a Racing game.

soooo, hope u don't mind if i join in unloading in this therapy session.... here's how my day went - (1) since i just got my spanking hot G27, i should be looking around for some of the best driving games and GT5 is taking forever....will get to it during lunch break! but wait! what about the wife and her talk about watching the budget?! heck, i'll show her its a good chance for her to brush up on her driving skills .... with the slick 6-speed, clutch n all....and if she can beat me, maybe, just maybe....she can drive the car around the block. "on top of that honey, think of the little one, do u know how much race drivers make? with the G27 and a decent game, he could be the next Keiichi Tsuchiya for crying out loud!" (2) at the game shop: hmm Dirt2 or NFS hot pursuit? i'm more of a tarmac kinda guy & NFSHP looks like fun...and my kid likes cop cars....and most importantly - its newer ! what could be a better match for my new wheel?? the latest game of course!! (3) back in the office....let's check the net for some support features the wheel has on the game and rave reviews my fellow G27 users have in NFSHP (3) oh wait...no....what's this.....no way....this idiot doesn't know what he's talking about....has to be a setting issue....what a *! hahaha.....here we go: EA website....these guys would know what's going on...... and here i am. eye twitching. giddy. disappointed. nauseous. but still not exactly speechless, so pls excuse me while i rant on with a subdued rage that would make kratos pee in his panties... EA!!!!!!!!!!!! do u hear my roar!???! u have 3 days to fix this (the time limit for me to return the game)

I tend to agree with just about everyone else, I just finished playing undergroud with my g27, it was fantastic, the vibrations the force feed and even handling changed with each car. I spend the better part of $600 for this wheel and $100 for the game, and i went to play it on PS3, and what would you know a F****ing waste of money, I am tempted to take it back to EB Games tomorrow to get my money back. And I think I might just take my GT out for a spin instead, at least the money I spend on fuel wont be wasted like this game........ EA, Criterion who ever the F*** fixes it fix it.... now please. I wonder if this does't get fixed EA is going to lose ALOT of money a loyal customers if this isn't fixed 5 minutes ago.
