Hi! My name is Dmitry, I'm from Russia! I'm playing in Need For Speed for over eight years. Most of all I liked the game: Hot Pursuit 2, Underground 1,2, and Most Wanted. Generally, I love to drive in cars and play computer racing especially in the online mode. I hope to get to the beta team. I will be happy to drive.

Hello all, I'm Miaoven Winter, 29, working out of Honolulu, Hawaii currently. I've been an NFS fan to the core since the beginning of the franchise; I own all PC titles excluding Pro Street and Shift, my favorites being Porsche Unleashed, Hot Pursuit 2, and Most Wanted. I even played a bit of Motor City Online for the short time it was live. I'm really excited to have a NFS game molded from MW and Carbon and turned into an MMO, where I believe the majority of internet gaming business will head toward in the coming decades.

I also lead the multi-game forum-based clan Epilogue Central Syndicated, which will be coming to NFS:WO in full force during Closed Beta and full release. Our primary supported game is Drift City, a racing MMORPG somewhat similar to WO, though it's slowly coming to the end of its life (BTW, I see some old friends from DC here already; Corn, Zouave, howzit!). We have a thread up in the General Discussion section (http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/406482.page) which discusses our hunt for a new NFS:WO branch leader. If anyone's interested, please post there or PM myself.

Hope to see you guys in the beta!
-M.W.

I'm N-A_Vroom (The create EAID thing doesn't support the / character so I can't use N/A) and I'm From Toronto, Ontario (Love being Canadian) and I've been playing NFS games (offline) from Hot Pursuit 3 to Hot pursuit 2 since Elementary School (Think NFS Porsche Unleashed was the first game I've played a computer, or was it Viper Racing)
I currently have no NFS related activity online other than downloading add-on cars and tracks, but I LOVE racing and being the police in police chases(and regular road driving). Currently I am playing Trackmania Online, but it is missing collision detection, so I can't really pull drivers over.

Hey this is Dragon, I have been playing NFS games for a long time. Currently right now though and almost for the past 3 years I have been playing Test Drive Unlimited and have been waiting to move on to the next greatest racing game. When I heard about NFSW and saw the game videos I was stunned at the driving mechanics and was glad to see I could call NFS my next home. Other then playing mmo's and TFU I love to play my guitar in the free time even though I am not very good, I still try to get better everyday. I also am not a super racing freak for competition. If I'm in a multiplayer match I play it to the end to have fun and meet other people and possibly make some new friends.

My Rig:
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 940 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
8190MB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 (Super Clocked)

Yo, I'm dusty.

I've been a NFS fan for over 10 years now.

My favorites are:

NFS III: The first one I played.

NFS Underground: Probably the best street-racing one.

Most Wanted: Destroying massive amounts of cop cars? Helicopter that rams into you? You know I'm all over that. >:3

NFS Hot Pursuit 2: The PS2 version. The cops are absolute wimps in the Xbox version.

I'm also very aggressive. I guess that happens when you play a lot of Burnout
My specialty is crashing into things and getting pissed off.

I'm currently restoring a '78 Trans Am IRL right now, it's coming along great so far.

Hey all,

I thought I had posted in this topic already, but looking through it I can't find me, so here we go again:

I am an engineering student at UVIC in Victoria, BC, Canada. I've been a fan of NFS since I was introduced to hot pursuit 2 and have gotten every game since then, with my favorite being Carbon (because it was like Most Wanted with sweet muscle cars). My own vehicle is a 1991 chevy S10, and I'm working on making it look like the one in my avatar, complete with a 350 V8. Needless to say, I love american muscle!

Nice to meet you all!

There's no replacement for displacement!

Proud owner of a 1991 Chevrolet S10.

Hi, I'm slim102471 or slim for short. I haven't been blessed with the best memory in the world but i can tell you that I've been playin NFS since it was originally exclusive to PC. As you can see, I like Vipers. If it was my world they would rule the road.

God i feel old seeing most of you started with Need for Speed 111. Well my adventure started with Need For Speed 1 The very first one they created. I still play it on occasion just to see how pixelated it is. I must admit NFS has done really well over the years with the Game Engine and Graphics and Dynamics. I play a lot of online games and racing games and shooting games but i must admit for racing i will always choose EA.

I am one of the "Oldschool" Racers i guess you can say.

WOW!!! You mean the one introduced by Road & Track?? I dont think I ever played that one. As a matter of fact I'm quite sure I started with the third one as well.

Hey guys,

I'm AJ from Nebraska, and the first NFS game I played was Porsche Unleashed on the PC. I have played more racing games than I could possibly list, and while NFS has always been my favorite series for arcade-style racers, I have seen a lot of closed-minded, blind NFS supporting on these forums.

NFS has produced a lot as a series, but if you guys want to really help make this game great, you have to take ideas from other successful games. But that's just my two cents.

Enjoy the track everyone.

Yup the Very first Need For Speed Game very boxy cars and the pixels were crappy but it ruled back then since our video cards back then thought it was AWESOME. But today's technology that old game my video card laughs at it.
