So I need older drivers to fix this? Doesn't make sense
I found the drivers you were referring to but they only apply to Windows 7 and I am using Vista 32-bit

Thanks OP for the best news i ever wanted about NFS
I know that every guy here have a different POV and list of priorities in his book, but i guess that the most critical ones (aka Fixed ASAP) are the most important:
Critical ones:
- Sluggish framerate even on high end systems WHEN the min.specs. are just plain dumb
- Rain Effect, Police Lights effects broken
- More advanced GFX options like AA/DoF/AF and so on
- Autolog Fix/Online fix as its unplayable
- Better balancing of difficulty
- Enable SLI and Crossfire support has they partially work
Not critical ones (totally my opinion, naturally):
- Increase the support of steering wheels/enable them
- Manual Transmission
- Dbox motion code
Ive seen peoples asking for other things, but they dont know maybe how a game engine works. There are some changes/requests that just cant be done at this point (i mean after a game is "gold master" and retailed).
Most of the others are simple implementations that can be done.
Anyway im eagerly awaiting for the patch, hope to see it soon....VERY SOON!
And thanks, never blamed Criterion, even if the game wasnt stellar in his first incarnation.
Maybe some other users should try F1 2010 and Cod Black Ops. THOSE ARE BROKEN GAMES. F1 2010 in primis, worst support ever, they did a patch that breaks everything good in the game.
Quit with the rant and wait a bit: in these days go play something, like, GT5

I'm pleased to be able to update you on the patch that will be forthcoming early next week.
Mulit-Core CPU's
We've now located and fixed the problem that players were reporting where the game would crash on Car Select, Map Screen, Loading screen or just at the start of an event. Interestingly we're actually intrigued that the game works at all after our investigations with the problem actually manifesting itself in code that we shipped as part of Burnout Paradise.
We've also taken the opportunity to address a couple of other reported problems.
Missing Rain / Snow and Corona effects
This have been fixed
CL Eye Driver crashing the game on startup
Fixed.
Corrupted Dreamshots in non 16:9 aspect ratios
Fixed.
We've also added D-BOX motion chair support.
Once again, thanks to all the players who helped us track down and identify the problem. We'll detail exactly when the patch will be available as soon as we can. As I said, it's likely to be early next week, but we need to go through the testing and certification systems that are in place prior to release.
Criterion Games
Please add manual gears too. It's whats keeping from fully enjoying the experience.
And a fix for Windows XP 64 bit. It doesn't work on that system because the activation.exe keeps crashing after install(it did work during installation, ever since not(not even when I uninstalled it)).

I noticed there was no "Store" option in PC version.
Short question: Will PC version get any DLC?

Yeah, only 200,000+ views on the last thread were curious people looking into a problem they didn't have. It dwarfed every thread here by a landslide. I'm sure they added in every console game to that number that all runs on the same hardware.
What a joke.
