If any of this is true... I thank you for posting... Greatest post in here in weeks!

However I find it very hard to believe that some level 1 customer support goon would know anything about the details on the fixes for a new game that is experiencing catastrophic failures on all systems!!!

And yet somehow EA cannot take 5 min to post that information anywhere, like the official blog maybe

WHY THE F#%K would EA not communicate about it so they were not getting so many calls / emails for tech support..

when i go to www.battlefieldbadcompany2.com it says i am a veteran rank 1 which means i should be able to get the m1 grand but when i go to my xbox 360 and put battlefield bad company 2 in it doesnt say i am a veteran rank 1 it says zero. i want to get the m1 grand it is my last gun i need.

good, and while they're at it, they can fix the 1,000 other problems associated with the PC version of this game.

There is a blog where these, and many other known issues are located. I can't remember the link but there is a thread about it a few days ago. They don't communicate here because of all the flamers and idiots. I don't blame them.
