Need for Speed Racing Games

I am disappointed that there is a lack of Rap Music in this game.
Personally, I do not enjoy Rock Music (the only time I did was in the Underground series) and Techno does not do much for me.
I guess I will just have to listen to Podcasts off my laptop instead, which is not too bad.
Listening to the engine by itself is good enough for me.

First thing I do with any racing game is shut off the music. I don't care what kind of music it is, it's just annoying in a racing game, even in the menus.

The slang in Underground 2 was almost as bad, how may times did I have to suffer through phrases like "more coin for your bank"?

i think there should be more rap and that would be cool to be able to add ur own music to....cuz this soundtrack is lame......just my opinion thou

i am not a fan of rap music but i did enjoy underground starting off with "get low" it set a certain mood for the game.

Im a bit annoyed that there isnt much rap. Underground and UG"2 had the best soundtracks so far IMO.

Rap and RnB music suited games like U1 and U2 cuz they were more 'street'-based racing games whereas PS is more 'grown-up' and professional if you like... so yea im glad there's not much Rap/RnB based music in PS. Not that i hate those genres but they wouldn't work so well in PS if you ask me

True. The soundtracks for the gran turismo games so far have worked brilliantly, so i say EA should take a leaf out of GT's book.

I have completely different opinion. I do not want much rap..
That is why there should be such option as your own music in playlist after you finish career or as a reward card. Or simply more songs and player chooses any type of music while creating profile (all genres, rock or techno or ... some combination).

I have noticed, but since EA changed every thing i cant figure out how to change it

lack of rap and hip hop is a good thing for me. but personally, i would like a music importing function.

Techno is on the bottom of my list. I hate, hate, hate techno. The only rock song I liked in all the NFS was "Joker and the Theif". That's it. Sorry people. But I'm a rap person.

If you really do want more rap music (or any other music that the game doesn't already come with) for Need for Speed ProStreet, then you can probably just turn off the music in the game and run Winamp or Windows Media Player (if you want use Winamp and don't already have it, I'd recommend getting version 2.8 over version 5 because it will probably lag the game less) and play your music through that. By the way, this also works for pretty much any other NFS game.
