Does it strike anyone else as particularly non-evil, non-money grubbing that an EA moderator is not only excited about TDU2 but is offering up links that tell us about it?

No, no. Not directed at anyone in particular. Just thought it was kind of funny.

So how is Split Second?

It is pretty fun, online is crazy because the kids who like to run into you end up wreaking themselves.

what aout its SP?

we know TDU2 is going to have a massive and epic SP mode, in the vein of TDU1, the first MMO that actually needEd to be played OFFLINE to get 100% completion.

so, Split second, what are the races like, is there a simple one car hot lap mode when i want to take a break from the carnage, how mahu cars is there, how long is it? MP is irrelevent to me, only Sp is relevent, so, whats that like?

Roll on the next games crash

we need some proper games again....

It says this on the website:
http://www.testdriveunlimited2.com/about wrote:TDU2 is "always live" with automatic content updates and seamless online/offline integration. New content, challenges and features will integrate dynamically into the gameplay as the world evolves over time.

So do you not have the ability to connect to online or do you just perfer single player? Because by the sound of this it seems like there will be new things added online, but there will be a good offline also.

I think he just doesn't want to race you. Some of us actually prefer to play against the computer based on the fact that we can occasionally be really vengeful drivers.

Considering that the original Test Drive Unlimited sold me on an Xbox 360, of course I'm pumped.

Can't wait for some more MMO racing.

i HATE online with a vehemenance. nothing but ghetto speak backchat, foul abuse, and idiots who think deaththreats are good sh--s. if i want that, ill go back to school.

i ONLY play SP, im online enabled with silver to download FREE car and track packs, i refuse to pay extra as ive already payed 50 pounds for the damn game, charging for afterthaughts is just a rip off.

the online aspect is somethign that personally DISGUSTS me, either they need MUCH tighter controls as tho who uses it,or ban it, its as simple as that.

I think I might perfer to cruise around the world by myself, rather than in a mass of other cars. It would be much more peaceful that way.

BTW, does anyone know if there are cops?

yes, there are cops. same as in TDU 1, but with rather less agressive ai, that came in for a lot of flack with reviewers in TDU-1.

i see weve added a passcode system to the forum so as to foil the spam bots. Good call EA!
