I use a joystick to steer (plus a second one for throttle / brake), which normally isn't an issue, but for the Zonda speed runs I reduced the sensitivity to 40%. The only other game I had to do this was for the toy Corvette in Toca Race Driver, which only allowed a chase view. NFS5 - Porsche Unleashed, also had toy cars if you used the cheat code gulliver.
In this video, I'm driving the toy Corvette, and I've enable nitrous, which due to a game bug causes most of the cars in RD3 to hop like crickets and usually crash, but it looks cool.
