100% agree. The first team to get the pink slips should be the whole team that is doing the AI. Goodbye. You stinkola. In three games you have done the samr thing getting worse each time. You certainly can't write a satisfying AI for a racing game if you don't know what it should do. Complete jerks. You know what they reming me of. Those blue balls in half life 2.

We've seen the same AI without improvments for three games. Worse each consecutive time. I hated the slam on their brakes when you get behind them in Carbon. Ruined the whole game for me. One trick ponies and they did it every time.

Then they got even worse in Pro Street. They added the guided missile effect. Trying to damage your car. I guess the Devs thought that was real good gameplay. That's what we were told. All new and better AI.

And then comes this absolute joke. When the cops are on you there are 30 of them all the time, a road block every 200 feet, and every alley no matter how small a cop pops up in front of you. And with all that they are just so easy to get away from. Most of the time just pull over. That is not good game in my book. There were a whole lot less cops in Most Wanted. But they would sniff you out and you could see them coming and you just new that they were going to find you a couple of seconds before the timer ran out. Then the race would be on again. That was fun. These guy's could never write that. It's obvious. Instead they install the thing I hate most in games. A TIMER. I play games to get away from having to beat a clock. I'm convinced, that they will at this point, never make another NFS game I like at Black Box. At least in the gameplay department.

I like the map in this game. Too bad you can't have fun driving it. Every cop that sees you chases you from the get go! How do you get the strikes off your car? How come you can't drive to events or have the circle in the road. What about the absolutely horrid graphics. Absolutely convoluted controls. The customization controls are ridiculous. If convinced that EA is not capable in any way anymore. And I blame the upstairs guys. The Fatcats.

I was reading an article on this series. An interview with the CEO of EA. About Back Box and his disappointment with Carbon and Pro Street. And in the middle of it he mentions something about driving your Ferrarri. And I thought, man this guy don't know or care whats in these games. He's just mad because we don't like them. Probably mentioned Ferrarri because it's the car he drives. And I paid for the ashtray!

This game was a pile of real good stuff. But with the same jerks putting it together, we get just that, a pile of stuff. All unfinished, unorganized, and in the end, unworkable. NFS RIP (Rest in Pieces)

I agree, ever since "NeedForSpeed UnderGround" till the very end of "NeedForSpeed Most Wanted", EA's games have gone down the drain!?!?!! (with the exception of Carbon, it was OK)
But why i ask...Why!!!, this is clearly a cry for help, and we the "fans" have to pay for it!!!!
every since their first installment, "we" the fans have come to expect great things from EA all the time, every time, sadly thats not the case the past three(3) times!!!
i want to hear from the developers at "BlackBox"..i want to know who in the developing department has been smoking waay too much!?
I would say that Need For Speed may have changed after UnderGround:2, but introduced a new style of game when it came out with "Most Wanted". With its new style and game play, it still did well, and even now after three(3) Failures in a row, most wanted and UnderGround:2 are still getting the leg up out of the entire series!!
i thought you were suppose to improve as you go along in a series, you know?......listen to the people who buy your "product".
apparently EA couldnt get BlackBox to do so.
either of the two could try to take responsibility, but fail to comply!!!
i understand the work that goes into making a game, but the first thing you learn from "work", is that "QUALITY SHOULD ALWAYS GO BEFORE QUANTITY".
I bought and played the game, there is obviously a load of things wrong with the game: it lags, Freezing, the map serves no real purpose other than to see your events and select them(but you cant mark them with a GPS signature to show you where to go for it), and etc...(and many more!!)
Ive beaten the game, and now the only thing i now look forward to is the online play, which is ok, but isnt enough to make the game any better!!!!!
All in all, WE the fans of the NEED FOR SPEED series come to expect great things from EA and Blackbox.
we support the QUALITY of you games, but will NOT tolerate the BS you hand off to us.....
to be honest, i never looked to buying any other racing game from any other developer, but seeing how the past three did, im actually considering it!!!
EA, if your listening, please redeem what you name..please!!!

I want to love NFS so bad!!!! but i just feel like nothing new has happened, and like the series is just kinda playing with us now. Like how they say the AI is more realistic and how the cops are more challenging... but all they did was kinda get the idea and just stuff it down our eyesockets and into our controls. Like u guys said... its unfinished. EA please!!!!!!!!!!!!! make NFS #13 wat we really want, a finished game, that can keep us from leaving our chair for hours at a time.

reason blocks dont affect cops is.....

the cops that were doing the actual roadblock will, take off after you once you evade the block (look back when you do you will see them breaking off the blok to come after you)
