Maybe you are the prime example of what this game will turn into... not a boxing but a running game for 10 rounds in circles doing anything to avoid throwing a punch out of fear. I got news for you, most top players won't be falling into that trap and will play the numbers game, so what has the 1pKO achieved in this game?

Nothing but long boring fights and plenty more runners like you aside from the obvious distortion of top player records.

As I said the problem is not the 1 punch KO, sure it happens in real life and should stay but it should require skill to pull off. It is completely random right now.

I think the real 'issue' is Flash is having problems adapting to the new game.

Something he already admits he will solve in the future.

I said master styles not 1pKO's and since I currently land an average of 30 counters a fight in this demo it is working to my advantage but it is a false advantage since had they not been in, those fights would most likey have been won regardless.

All in all yes it is in fact a disadvantage to the better players. These players will lose fights that they should never lose whilst on the flip side, you have some clown that wins fights he should never win. Now if he were to have pulled that win off by using just a tiny amount of skill it would be better than it is right now.

Listen please try to understand, you can not master something that is random but you can do your best to mitigate it. You can not get rid of it and you can never guarantee it won't happen to you no matter how good you are.

They seem to come from counters more than regular punches but they are still completely random on both fronts.

Just to give you an example... in one fight I kid you not, I landed 83 counters and it still went the full 3 rounds without a 1pKO. In another fight I landed about 20 ish counters mid way through round 2, my opponent lands his 3rd counter and 1pKO's me. I 1pKO'd someone with my 3rd punch in another fight. In another fight I went in with a body hook in round 1 and the dude didn't get back up. In another fight I destroyed my opponent, had him in stun state and he 1pKO's me with a regular hook when he was stunned.

Complete utter total randomness! The 1pKO is not the issue, no one said remove it... the issue is the no skill bit, the total randomness.

Maybe you should try moving around, instead of standing in front of your opponent and spamming punches!

I throw 3 hooks and an uppercut

In boxing everyone has a punchers chance, if the puncher got the chance then the opponent only has himself to blame for losing...

I understand what you're saying Flash but in all the games I've played the only time I've been KO'd or KD its been when I've missed a heavy punch and the other guy has caught me.

I think what you want is more control of it, but not even Tyson could throw a big punch and say definitely that was the shot that was gonna KO someone.
