Yea love this, pay to play and no tech support to resolve connection problems.

I did forget to mention I chatted with EA Live Support earlier today at about 3PM EDT and they told me They are obviously having connection and server troubles and are trying to fix it ASAP. They are aware of it but as the evening progresses I'm sure it will worsen and especially tomorrow because of the final day of masters and golf enthusiasts wanting to play this while they watch the masters lol.

Working this now with EA....I am having them check affected users persona's to see if there is an issue that is causing this as it does not appear to be affecting everyone playing.

Well if it helps any any, it disconnects from the server right when it goes to load the configuration information. Web sites/pages work fine. Its at the point when it goes to the black screen.

I'm not being able to connect either.

I have the same problem, it sits on the connecting to game server screen forever. Was working great last night.

OK I could not connect as well and still having problems, only way I can get connected is disable my anti virus, I'm using Avast and running Windows 7, 64 bit.

FYI...I was able to get connected after this mornings maintenance ( I reported under a different posting about 6:30 am today) by waiting nearly 4-5 minutes from the time the black screen started with the spinning circle in the left corner. I have never had to wait more than 15 -20 seconds throughout the entire betas. I also have the same problem with the forums loading slow..which also never had this problem prior to this am.

I came home from work tonight and the same issues exist. I will check the unity player and play around with a few other things to see if this improves......but be certain I have not changed any settings on my system. I am running IE8, have 4gig of ram and highspeed roadrunner. I cleared my browser several times this am to no avail.

Let me know if you can think of anything specific that might have caused this new time delay in loading.

If it helps, no one in my household can play. I opened VPN connection to my office computer, connected to a Remote Desktop session, and it appears that I can't play from there with my account either.

Whatever it is, I can't play anywhere with my persona.

For the record, I had problems today too. Got to the 'connecting to server' message, and then nothing. Actually had an error message pop up one time telling me I had a problem and to try again later, sort of thing.

Also , without hijacking this thread too much, today and yesterday I've had real issues with these forums - long load times for each page - sometimes the refresh icon was my only recouse to load specific pages. Really poor!!

I'm tempted to say more, but I won't....!!

I'm stuck at Loading Configuration Files on the Popup. Firefox 3.6.3 and have cleared cache.

Same for me as well, trying to check back about this connection problem has been a pain getting the forum to load.

I tried this morning (7AM CST) to access both the pro shop and game. I got to the loading configuration and sat for a long time. I just tried to get back in. I went to the pro shop to buy some extra rounds and was on the loading configuration screen for 20 minutes before I quit. I reported the problem in the report bugs area this morning

getting bored having to log in and out all the time come on man
