It is however fun to get a hackers tags and when checking back later to find they have been banned, yet you still have there tags.

The guys that're supposed to make sure that PB works, that hackers/cheaters that're brought forward are investigated. Just seems to me, after reading post after pissed off post that they only care about grabbing our money then ignoring us.
And no Snipe, not a hacker. Quite the opposite. I believe that hackers should be perma-banned.
Good to hear, I didn't think so. Yep hackers/padders are a$$hats that need to be DESTROYED, kinda like that video of the dude at a CSS Lan that was caught hacking and they delt with it by removing him and his system to the parking lot and SMASHED the $hit out of it.

The funny thing is you can be approved by EA/Dice and PB to test hacks on any game. So why would they care if there are hacks out there?

They will gain so called test group that is known to hack, so they can monitor their connection type and help understrand how new hacks work, so they can build up their anti-hack systems better, thats why

Going through all that trouble and hoping to get lucky to get the sufficient evidence EA is requiring is NOT how I want to spend my time on a game I spent $50+ on!!!! The punkbuster checkbox when searching for servers is broken and has been since game release. This is inexcuseable in my opinion. This game company is handling BC2 the same way Infinity Ward handled their game....craptastically. There still is no scoreboard font fix (you know...where the titles above the scoreboard are overlapping with huge letters) and flickering graphics after the level loads (frequent) and LONG load times that ISN'T ATIs fault but IS the fault of the game code written by DICE....(but ATI has to make a bandaid fix for it anyways).
Love the game, but the hackers are ruining the game for me and all my friends. We used to play every night. Now I only play a few times a week...never see my friends anymore. They all complained about the hackers too. We should NOT have to go through so much trouble to report them while they hack away and get away with it and we don't get to have the fun we paid for.
I identify hackers by how they one-shot kill me over and over immediately after I spawn or shoot once from cover. It's like their hack requires I make atleast one shot to mark my head's location...then all they have to do is pull the trigger from anywhere in the map in my general direction.
My question to the hackers: How the hell is there any enjoyment in the game when all the skill and challenge is removed????
To Dice: Put all hackers on there own server and they can shoot all they want at their invincible selves and not get any kills.

Please contact http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=11549 when reporting cheaters/hackers and provide evidence against the offending account.
All posts/threads accusing players of hacking will be removed.
Thanks,
That's odd. I went to EA live chat. Told them I had issues with hackers and they sent me to the forums to report it

What about boosters? I wish there was an effective way to kill them on your own team.

Boosting, Hacking, Cheating... All the same to me. It's cheating plain and simple. People who cheat are failures in every sense of the word.
Dice, can't you afford to have atleast one person visit each server and monitor it for a length of time and see for yourselves? This reporting crap is going to amount to maybe 1% of the players actually going through the trouble to do it and maybe half of those will actually get processed. There is a staggering number of players cheating out there right now. I think players who wouldn't normally cheat are saying to themselves, "Everyone seems to be cheating, so I better do it too" <-- LAME!!

What is EA's policy regarding players caught by the Punkbuster system for using hacks and cheat programmes? Does EA receive data from the Even Balance / PB team (such as the info listed at http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-latest50-bfbc2-lfb36.html, do they cross-reference it with their own account databases to match soldier names with accounts and take disciplinary action accordingly.. or are we, the players, required to report Punkbuster caught cheaters before EA takes any action against them?
