Pretty good chance I'd say...he does like the odd lager or 20

Two men were "thrashing" a motorcycle around an inner-Melbourne neighbourhood early today moments before the machine slammed into a pub, leaving the pillion passenger with fatal injuries.
Police say neither men were wearing helmets or protective clothing when they smashed into the Tramway Hotel, North Fitzroy, just after 1am.
The 20-year-old passenger died in hospital a few hours later and the rider is in a critical condition.
The pair were travelling north on Rae Street when the motorcycle struck a wall of the hotel, at the intersection of St Georges Road South, police said.
A resident of Rae Street told the age.com.au he heard a group of people on the street making "a hell of a lot of noise" and someone on a motorcycle "thrashing it up and down the street".
He said the ruckus continued for about 20 minutes before the smash..
"I actually heard a woman in the group say she was a bit worried about the blokes on the bike not wearing helmets and then there was this almighty crash and people started screaming," the resident said.
He said a motorcycle helmet was today sitting on a fence outside a Rae St home where he believed some of the group lived.
The police major collision unit is investigating.

If you kill someone while driving recklessly, you can be charged with vehicular manslaughter. I'm glad he's not being charged. Both of them were willing participants, and there was never any ill intent.

Do you think a sober person would race up and down the street repeatedly, wearing no protective gear until they crashed?

I've heard from friends Ali's recovery is going really well and that he should be skating soon, but I haven't done any research on it

I'm wondering if he is getting his motion-capture in the game. I don't think he can in his condition. Skate is only a few more months away.
