The Jags will reach the playoffs. Is that bold enough?

Raiders go 9-7 and clinch a wildcard,
Colts have an off year and miss the playoffs.
Texans win their division.
Jets sweep the Patriots and Mark Sanchez out performs Brady in both games.
Redskins go 12-4 and win division.
49ers clinch #2 seed in the playoffs.
Favre returns but the Vikings fail to make the playoffs.

NOTE: I doubt alot of these will happen but hey it was all for fun.

Patriots over Packers in the Super Bowl.

I will never, ever count out Tom Brady. Whenever I do, he ends up burning me.

Do you seriously think that?

I thought they could until that horrendous draft. They addressed one large need, one, and that was with a top 10 pick that was used on a mid-2nd round player.

I mean, how do you expect to make the playoffs when your draft consists of:

Fringe first round DT, position of need, top 10 pick
Fringe 3rd round DT, no longer a PoN, mid 3rd
Scrub DE, barely a PoN, early 5th
Potential decent DE, not a PoN, mid-5th
Scrub RB, not even close to a PoN, early 6th
Kick Returner (Not even the best one available), not a PoN, late 6th.

Thats exactly why the Patriots have been good for all these years. They draft based on talent, not need.

But they did neither! Are you seriously telling me Tyson Alualu was the BPA with Earl Thomas, Brandon Graham, Derrick Morgan, Sean Weatherspoon still on the board? Are you seriously telling me they needed to pick up two defensive ends after already having signed Aaron Kampman? Did they really need another RB?

This draft has no plan, and no direction.

The Patriots drafts the past couple of years have been awful actually. Most of the guys they have picked aren't even on the team anymore.

Tim Tebow will play in the 2010 season, and have better stats than mark sanchez did in 09.

They may not be on the team, but at least they contributed.

I believe that there is no shame in 18-1, only pride.

Yes, I do and I disagree with everything you said about their draft. I have been hearing some very good things about the players the Jags drafted.

Did you realize that the Dolphins were interested in picking him if the Jags hadn't, that's supported by the fact that they traded down and then selected the DT from Penn State.

Aaron Kampman is an older player coming off a serious knee injury, they needed young talent and they got that and when it comes to drafting a RB, did they need one when they drafted MJD? Also, he was selected to be more of a punt or kick returner, can't remember which one.

If you seriously believe that these guys don't have a plan or direction then you are simply out of your mind. This isn't something they do as a hobby or to shoot the breeze.
