Has anyone else had problems with reverse crunches?
I'm using EA Active 2 on the Wii and find that if I keep my feet slightly off the floor at the end of each rep (as demonstrated) I am told to lower and keep still. The only way for me to be able to continue the exercise is to put my legs completely flat on the floor at the end of each rep.
Doing it this way I don't think I'm getting the full benefit of the exercise.
Anyone any tips?
Kirsty

I haven't had any problems and I don't go all the way to the ground.
I think what is getting you is the "hold still" part. Maybe your legs are shaking because of the effort? As you get stronger this should get better...keep at it.
The only other thing I can think is if your legs are bent too much at the knee when they are down, try making sure you straighten your legs...of course this makes the exercise harder and your legs will shake more!!

Thanks for the advice, Ken.
I get the message even before I've done the first rep so I don't think it's that my legs are shaking. It must be that my knees are too high (the area in front of my TV is a bit cramped so it can be difficult to do the floor exercises properly).
Will keep trying...

I too have noticed that the trainers legs look more bent at the knees when legs are lowered. However for the game to register correctly your legs must be much straighter when down...less bend in the knees. I still keep them off the floor, just less bend.
