I cant send to game, it says i need to use my psn id and to change it, when i do nothing happens, i even tried to make a new one and nothing what gives ea

I need help because when i click send to game it says change your persona. Then when i put in my XBOX Live gamertag for my person, it says it cannot be found. So does that meen im just doing something wrong or do i need XBOX Live Gold because I do not have XBOX Live Gold I only have Silver.
