Mike Johnson please don't expect us to give you good feedback when we dislike the game. What would be the point of giving you good feedback of a game that lacks feature? Don't mean to sound like an a-hole, but duh!

How about a Current Gen version for the 360? All i want is franchise back the way it was, fantasy draft, new clippings, player morale, rookie scouting, owner mode.

Also how is anything in "current gen" games left of the "next gen" games, I dont get it. It is mind boggling. The gameplay is great and with it madden will be a solid to good game but it was the franchise mode that made it incredible.

Also why does next gen require more difficult to manuever ways to move throughout the game.

Is there any chance of getting a "current gen" release for the 360 because I am seriously considering, downgrading to reg XBOX and grabbing a current gen copy.

Bring back the franchise mode we know and love, that is all I ask.

Don't misunderstand me. We know all feedback isn't positive!!! What I'm saying is be articulate about it. "EA is a bunch of idiots..." won't get you anywhere. Be smart and clear and feedback will be read...Make Sense??

will be read? I'm not kidding myself, but I'm apparently one of the few who can't grasp why roster edits are not in the game. The rosters are already outdated on day one of release... The attributes are all wrong too, don't get me started. How can GB have a higher rating than Dallas? EA, must hate the Boy's, they get no love. Did you see last night??? They are for real.

MJ, do you guys intend on creating and releasing a patch that will allow us to edit player ratings on the 360 version?????

as well as, and almost more importantly, positions. Chris Cooley is a FB in the game for Christ's sake... what the hell? G. Ellis needs to be OLB, and future draft picks may suite other positions better, we need to be able to move them around.

Speaking of Hall of Fame edition... what if Warren Moon were kept at his projected WR position... what if I want Robinson or Brad Smith to try playing QB, I should have that choice...

Here's a concept; how about NOT penalizing people for buying the "next-gen" version of the game by stripping out the core features of the "current-gen" game (i.e. migrating all of the features on the Xbox version TO the Xbox 360). As far as I'm concerned the Madden Franchise peaked with the 2005 game and has been going down hill ever since. The 360 version is a return to the dark ages of Madden when there was little or no commentary and stiff gameplay. Sure, it looks pretty, but that's not why I buy Madden. I buy Madden because it's supposed to be the closest thing to a football simulation one could get without being in a real game. Instead of having your motto be "EA Sports, it's in the game" you should change it to "EA Sports, It used to be in the game". Get with the program EA. Now that you're the exclusive NFL game on the market you need to step up and give us a product that is better than anything that has gone before.

How you have managed to drop the ball on this one is incomprehensible to me EA. Last year you could use the "first gen" excuse with respect to the 360 and the "rush to be ready for launch" argument, but you have had nearly a year to get this game ready for the 2006 season and you have come up short yet again.

Someone else on these forums had a great idea, how about a downloadable patch that would reinstall the features we all know and love? My wishlist for EA Football 08, make a true next gen game rather than "Madden 2000 with a visual overhaul". Madden 2007 is a great example of how lazy you have gotten now that you're the NFL Exclusive. Why not just sell a roster update for each season for $29.99 and spare yourselves the embarrassment and us the agony and disappointment? You would probably make more money (this is what it's all about anyway, right?) and still be able to rest on your laurels without damaging your fading reputation as a premiere software developer. You're insulting the intelligence of the same loyal supporters that put you on the map. I for one have purchased Madden every year since it came out on a platform system way back on the Sega Genesis and have seen continual improvement every year until 2006 (Madden 05 was your crowning achievement). Thanks EA for giving me and everyone else the shaft for the second consecutive year of exclusivity!

If you feel EA is dropping the ball on this talk to Microsoft. I have heard time and time again that many 360 users feel like there is no reason to get the next gen console when EA puts out games they feel are no good.

While you and I as Joe costumer might not matter that much if enough people tell Microsoft how they see no reason to buy the 360 maybe Microsoft can put a lil pressure on EA to put out games that make you glad to have a 360 rather than feel cheated.

You can bet that Microsoft cares since they need as many people as possible to buy their $400 consoles when competing against Sony.

Believe me, after work I plan on writing a couple of scorching letters to whomever I can. I absolutely love my 360 but I really do feel that EA Sports is screwing us royally. Madden is the only game that I order months in advance every year and it's been disappointing the last couple of years to see this legendary game descend into the crapper on the first next gen console. I would return it today if there was an alternative, but thanks to the bean counters at EA we no longer can go to the ESPN/Visual Concepts well. Thanks for your suggestions.

- The L2 tiptoe/sideline catch button. I often grab my wideout while the ball is in the air, or when me and my friend play, I just play wideout. Sideline catches are a part of the game.

-Keep QB Vision optional, not everyone loves it (not for online, I understand keeping a level playing field there.

- Perhaps contrary to the request directly above, I would love to see an "NFL sim" mode in terms of difficulty. Any player worth his salt can go 19-0 over a season on All-Madden, and then at that point you've beaten the game. The next step is to adjust the A.I. sliders. If you guys would do that for us to the exact measurements that would result in the best simulation you can provide, that would be fantastic.

- The soundtrack has deteriorated as you've shifted to trying to break young bands. That's not what I buy the game for. How about just some good, catchy songs regardless of era or genre??

My only wish is that they stop making this game for the lame box and the crapbox 360 and Gaycube for that matter also the PC while we're at it.

They need to concentrate on the King of All Consoles.....PS3. With bluray technology and 4x the disc space. They can pool there resources together and create the greatest madden game ever.
