Madden NFL 12 Online & Online Franchise FAQ

OMG people complained about this a week ago... SO what i'll never be able to start a franchise with this update.... wtf guys... An to think I thought EA was trying hard to make everyone happy.. I am offically upset.. No point in writting a letter cuz you guys havn't been responding to these cats for almost a week. geee thanks for buying out 2k.. lol jk.. but come on!!!

I could not agree more. I'd like to be able to have an online franchise with a buddy of mine. He and I would obviously each have our own teams, but we'd also like to be able to take over and play any games on the entire schedule against one another. That way, we could go through the schedule and find good match-ups and play those games against each other online, which would be a blast. And whenever either of us wants to, we can play our own teams against the computer, but we'd like the option to switch between teams and play any games we want against each other.

If we have oly a couple people, I don't really see the point for an online franchise. We'd just play our own team's schedule against the computer and would only play each other when our teams meet? Like you said, doesn't seem much better than offline if you just play the computer all the time.

I'd love to have an online franchise with a bunch of human opponents, but I don't really want to play against people I don't know and I don't have 10-15 friends that play Madden online...

make a franchise
you are your team he joins as your opponent....
after gm he leaves franchise and joins as his team....
once he is joined back up you leave franchise and join as his opponent
rinse and repeat all the way through your guys' franchise
DO NOT LEAVE FRANCHISE BEFORE HE REJOINS otherwise no one is in it and its unexcessable/dead

how do you upload highlights of your online franchise games to your franchise? I click on video highlights in the franchise and there is no option to up load videos.

i used my online franchise code for another screen name now i cant use my code for my new screen name please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The player progression system on the Online franchise mode is messed up. There are guys that are having great seasons with young A potential players ( Suggs of Ravens with 12 sacks, 4 picks, 4 FF,40 Tcks and 20 TFL , D. Williams of the Panthers with 1600 rushing and 800 yds receiving) and they are either dropping or not moving up at all. Has a patch been put out or something to fix this? C potential players that havent really done anything are moving up more than A potential players thats having great seasons. EA, whats going on?

Whats the deal with EAs server? I thought it was bad last year, this year its terrible. The game freezes in the lobby room 50 times in a row, have to restart the game all day long....gets pretty old. Also, I have been cheated out of about 20 wins now, my oponent quits and I finish the game, aftr the games over and it goes to the lobby room I have gotten this message a bunch of times....."There was an error is recording your stats, you will not recieve a win, loss or any ranking points." Now most of the time I dont receive anything, but about 6 times i have gotten a loss out of it.

Its just aggrivating, EA servers are just terrible and hopefully they'll figure something out

also, how does the skill level work?? Im 48-24, a skill level 7. I score 28 pts a game and give up 13, I play agaist high skill level players, yet you have people that are the same record as me but a skill level 15 and play skill levels 1s, people that are 50 games under .500 lol. Or you have people with losng records that are higher skill levels. I just dont get it

I finished an online franchise and the guys in my league and I decided to start another season over again. My online roster is up to date but my online franchise is old. How do I get my online franchise up to date example Braylon Edwards as a Jet?????

yes it is possible to start a ten team season with the remaining teams being controlled by the cpu, the commisioner of the league has full capability to assign human owners or even boot human owners as they see fit.
