Supposedly, there's a patch on the way for this game, along with some DLC courses. No word on when for either yet, nor to I know exactly what the patch will address. Hopefully, they can do something about the dodgy cursor control and aiming issues that seem to be the most common complaint.

The Forum is back now as is the one developer who seems to be responding to questions. They did announce that DLC is on the way for the PS3 version on January 4th. Wonder how many of the 20,000 people (according to VG Chartz) who bought the game will jump on that?

There is still no official word on the XBox 360 version, or whether it will suppport the Kinect. The potential inclusion of Kinect support is the stated reason for the delay of the 360 version. I'm thinking they won't release the 360 version if they can't get Kinect support in as part of the package. Releasing a standard gamepad only golf game in the same time frame as Tiger Woods 12 golf game with Kinect support - and as we now have good reason to suspect - Augusta National, would be futile. Gamefly shows the release date for the 360 version of JDPG as 4/30/11, whereas Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: Masters Edition is set for 3/29/11.

The PS3 and the Move are really convincing me that this is the way to go for Golf games right now. Not usre how Kinnect for the 360 is going to pan out, but I am in video Golf nirvana right now with TW11 and the Move....

It's good to hear more and more positive reactions to this technology, even though it's still in its infancy. As for the Kinect and video golf games, I can't imagine it working for me unless I'm able to have something physical in my hands that's analogous to a golf club. I would guess the game would simply map your object of choice and incorporate it into the interface, based on the articles I've read about it.

BTW, I'm still pretty ignorant about the PS3 and the Move. If I get a Mover Starter pack, will that give me all the tools I need to use it fully, or do I need this "Navigator" to round out the set? (I'm guessing this Navagator is the equivalent of the Wii's nunchuck??

To play with the Move you need the PS3 Camera & the Move controller.(Separately they would cost you $90, for $100 you get the sports pack that includes the Sports Game)
I bought the Pack & traded the game right back in & they gave me $16 for the game.

To play TW with the Move you will use the Controller(Sixasis) to set up your shot & then swing with the Move.

They do sell a Navigation controller(which I just bought today but haven't use yet, will use it this evening when I play)
The Navigation Controller should take the place of using my controller for setting up my shot.(I hope)
Navigation Controller is $30
I also bought a charger that will charge both my Move Controller & Navigation Controller for another $30 today.
Yes TW golf is getting very expensive.

IMO from all what I know of you(from reading all of your posts), I think that you would enjoy playing TW with the Move.

Now will you find it enjoyable enough to buy a PS3 & all the things you need to play TW that's the Million Dollar question. (Well not that much, closer to $500 )

Are you speaking of Tiger Woods 11 or John Daly Prostroke Golf? If it's the latter, you'll more likely get an answer at http://www.johndalysprostrokegolf.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2 If it's the former, you should find some help in the General Discussion forum here. I'd like to help you, but I don't own a PS3... still haven't ruled one out. It depends on how well EA Sports handles Tiger Woods 12 with the Kinect.

Got the Prostroke game.
It is the Best experience hitting balls so far with the Move!

Because it does almost perfect 1-1 Swing Speed and Everything including Chipping works like it should (No Full Swings for short chips!) it really feels natural taking shots!
You can really work on your golf game or just simply play golf realistically!
Stuff like hitting Punch Shots out of Trees and Lob Shots over water is what really draws you in. You really feel like your playing golf!
It's perfect for Winter Time!

Prostroke has awesome controls and basic features, TW most other stuff. I really like the options in TW a lot. A lot of customization..

Both Prostroke and TW have good and bad. I believe (as long as they listen to us) the next iterations of games will be amazing thou through and through.

O well TW 12 is coming out supposedly around April so it will be interesting to see what happens and if changes...

Been playing the demo all weekend, and I have to say that the game is very realistic and fun. The graphics aren't as good, and the navigation is a little funky, but the precision of the move and the swing are really good. It takes a little bit of practice to get the hang of it. I was able to play through the three hole demo and shoot -4 after a fair bit of practice. The move compatibilty with JDPG is way better than with TW. I'm definitely thinking about picking this game up now. I'm hoping that TW 12 is somewhat compariable to the move game play of JDPG.

It is sad when there are more threads and posts from spammers than from actual users. That forum is a ghost town....

Yeah who ever is attacking it quite a shame... But at least the Mod is fast at fixing it. There is some good stuff being said right now on it.

The Mods are pretty slow to react to reported posts...

And there are only you, and one or two others posting there...otherwise it is a dead forum.

I don't know how paid mods work and can monitor 24/7 like this forum (which is def a good thing!). But check-ins everyday isn't bad I guess?
O well you know more than me on that type of stuff obviously.
There is only ever the core group members on game sites, and Prostroke is obviously wayy smaller and only ever had a fraction of the numbers the mega giant games had.
There's not much that has been said that has already been said. With only one PS3 game out too doesn't help member size.
All we do is keep saying fix the bugs and add features which has been said lol
O well give it time I guess? Everything starts somewhere.
Now back to waiting for TW12.... lol

The Mods for TW are not paid, nor are they employees of EA. A Moderator should check his forum at least once daily compensated or non-compensated....
