I will have to work on that. I thought trucking was all but gone now that moving the right stick is labled as sopmething else. I used to love trucking. Can you still do it?

Its similar to stiff arm, you have to hold it down until your player is in a trucking stance, and by then the interaction with the defender should start. It's definitely less effective this year, though.

Arizona state played a good game. I still have some work to do on the recruiting front to tighten up my secondary. ASU was able to pass against the cocks and it seemed like he passed about 90% of the time. He's a solid player and a welcome addition to the dynasty.
I agree with ddrou. Fris got Stanford 24-10 in a turnover filled game that featured a powerful running game by Fris and a wicked pass rush. GG and looking forward to next year.

Play a game with Alabama and use Trent Richardson. He will show you trucking like when Beanie Wells was on 2009.

Hopefully he'll transfer to UVA because he can't get to the SEC title game

Well Ddrou I wouldnt say your passing game is to bad either. I had a little better luck stopping you the first time we played in the SEC championship last year running my base D. But I decided last time I was gonna run a 3-3-5 against you to stop the passing game. Didnt take long at all to figure out I didnt have the personel to run that D though thats the reason I was getting so frustrated. Also the first time you kick off to me and I fumble on the return it's like oh no not another one of these games EA. I think I had like 4 turnovers to your none. I hope we meet in the SEC championship again this year cause one of the days I'm gonna figure out how to stop you. I think I'm way outgunned right now though cause your QB is a 90+ if I'm not mistaken and your WR's are all really good. Next year my QB should be high 80's with a good receiving corp so maybe things will change up a little. Plus I "HOPE" Lattimer doesnt hang out much longer, that kid needs to go pro.
Well I need to destroy Kentucky and all my opponents from now on out (which isnt gonna happen because I got Stanford, but at least their out of conf.) for any shot at all for a BCS game. And I gotta get a kicker.

I have Alabama in another dyn and Trent is a Junior with 99 trk and 99 ovr not to mention like 97 acceleration. I have tried the 2011 version of trucking but its different than last year. You can't just bump the right stick to run the guy over. You hold the right stick forward now. I havent been very effective with it but I'll try it in my other dyn

It was just a couple bad breaks thats all. I definitely wont overlook Miss * in the SEC championship.
One thing I try to do on every kickoff is strip the ball. Actually I try that on a lot of tackles too, sometimes at my own peril. Its kind of a habit Ive gotten into. Thats probably why I rap up the ball when Im returning kickoffs. I figure its so hard to return a kickoff in the middle of the field anyway I should just make sure I dont fumble.
Look forward to the SEC Championship!

I had 11 people commit this past week, and another one instant commit this new week. I know only have 9 scholarships remaining. I don't know if I should keep searching for in-season recruits or wait for offseason. There usually aren't too many good recruits in the offseason, but I don't want to waste all my scholarships just yet. What do you guys think?

I noticed your massive jump into the recruiting top 25...I guess that's why. Grats
My rule of thumb is to have 23 players signed going into the offseason, with 3-4 people or more with you as #1 on their list WITHOUT offering them. In that case, you can check what new recruits/transfers you can get (I rarely get the chance to sign 3+ new guys). If you can't get anyone, just send an offer letter to whomever of the 3-4 recruits that you haven't offered yet. This usually ensures a solid 25 man class, without having to take any trash recruits.
The wonderful thing about signing well in the regular season is that you can drop hours on people and get them to love you without offering them. Then just pick and choose who you need the most. Hope this helps! (And stop beating Michigan)

I just picked up a couple 4* and 1 3* myself. I think Im in the top 25 now but Im not sure where.
The first thing I do as far as recruiting is turn off the cpu ability to find recruits. The computer seems to find all the 2 stars. lol
Then in the preseason I find out what I need and look for them. I only look for guys who have me in their top 5. I usually offer everyone on my list hoping to get a couple commits right off the bat so I can spend more time on other prospects.
I also try to sign 4 & 5* prospects whether they are on my needs list or not just to try and improve that position.
One thing is for sure. The best thing you can do in the area of recruiting is win.

Opurum doesn't have a problem with the truck stick. He has about 1/3 of his yards this season after the first hit haha
