Here's a question for you that I haven't found asked yet...

I'm on a franchise mode with a full slate of human teams. My opponent had to cancel last minute, and told me to go play against the CPU instead of him. How do I do that? Do I need the franchise "commish" to step in and do something? Does the guy have to be kicked out of the league for a week?

on the blog thing before the game came out it said salary cap and free agents all that stuff was server based and when was ready could easily be added by 2011 could we please start getting updates on that or even put it in peice by piece like you have it to where we have no cap but contracts put that in or something just to let us know it is being worked on i know its probably really hard and will take a long time but it would make the game amazing

Why isn't there roster updates for the online franchise mode?! This is rediculous. I'm supposed to use my Bears with a horrible Johnny Knox. The Browns still have Braylon Edwards, the Eagles don't have Will Witherspoon. I expect this will be in the next patch but get it out there so I can start my franchise.

It aint gonna happen pal. EA sold their games. They got your money. Now their working on getting someone elses money. So they want you to go away and leave them alone.

Oh have you noticed how your online franchise selects the tie breaker. Alphebetical order, hahahahahah. They got us a good one. They sold us an unfinished product. They tease us with the promice of an awesome on line franchise like 2k5 had. Well it aint like 2k5. And then they stick with this unfinished clunker.

Ok I see a lot of complaining about the wrong things...If you start a franchise offline the the updated rosters don't automatically become a part of your franchise, you are stuck with what you started with. That makes sense. If you start a franchise and trade for Peyton Manning and the roster updates then Peyton will be back in Indy. Think about it.

Now onto more important stuff. Online Franchise does need fixes...I don't understand how NCAA has it right but Madden can't get it right. These should be easy fixes. Also why can't I post a message on my online message board???

Been trying to play online for 2 days and i can't. I've played online before. All of the sudden I can't connect to the EA servers. What's the deal?

I was wondering when you guys were gonna work on the online franchise. Alot of people here would like to have difficulty sliders such as interceptions vs deflections, ai pass rush vs human, ai awareness vs human. Let us fine tune how good the ai is in our own franchises. I just wanted to know when this could be made possible or do we have to wait until the next game or what's going on. Because I see no improvements being made for franchise.

I mean you guys don't even update the rosters for it, what is going on!

My friends and me would like to see all the things you have in the single player franchise in the online franchise as well as the ability to fine tune the a.i.

Ok why isn't there the option to edit a player uniform on the online franchise, you have the option to change a jersey number only. some of us like the idea of having swag while we enjoy the game i would like to throw visors and black spats and different team color gloves with the sweet rag on the side. you could at least put it an option to buy in the madden shop for online franchise play. you have stuff like boosting a player rating in clutch situations and bringing a player back from injury earlier and all that stuff come on i need that im a db i love to be sweet out there on the field ASAP! please just started my first online franchise and i was highly disappointed that it was not an option almost wanted to quit and just play off because i have that option to change what a player looks like

Does anyone know how to edit a players uniform on online franchise play?

Will there ever be a definitive response from SOMEONE at EA about even the possibility of them updating the rosters for Online Franchise? I've been extremely excited for this feature in the game, but it's practically ruined for me right now as I like to play as the Bucs. That means Leftwich is still above Freeman, Derrick Ward AND Earnest Graham are better than Cadillac Williams, the kicker and punter aren't even on the team anymore, the list goes on. And that's just with my team, my friends(and basically anyone who plays) have just as many issues.

This is extremely disappointing, and something that doesn't seem like it should be THAT hard to fix. Even if it's not going to be fixed, can someone at least SAY SO?! I'm amazed at how tight-lipped they've been in response to this question, because I have not been able to find a conclusive answer to this issue anywhere.

I was just playing somone on xbox live in a quick match. he was the browns and he had cribbs as his halfback. He also had channing frye, his 3rd string QB as a HB, and he used him on wildcat plays. My question is how did he do this, because theres no player management on xbox live. it doesnt allow you to change players positions.

This forum is a damn mess and has a ratio of about 1 informational post to 15 franchise requests... It's quite annoying. And when you add that and the NON user freindly forum setup, its awefuly hard to find the information your looking for.
