I don't know about getting the skeleton crew, but definitely not getting any help.
I guess EA can't duplicate the same issue. So that is probably why there is no replies from anyone.
Don't forget the magic cure all, "clear your cache".

C'mon ea stop jerking us about! Fix the slow loading and lagging issues now. You have made enough money out of us to put something back in so get off your lazy bronze butts and fix it, whats worse is except for a couple of piddly responses you don't even have the courage to give up to date answers as to what is happening.

I notice the same things. I have 2 laptops, one a older del behind a network configuration running xp. This plays the game without lag but I really shouldn't be playing games on it but..... 2nd Is a one year old Toshiba with Vista, dedicated video bla bla bla. Not too long ago this toshiba played TWO just fine. Now it is so choppy and laggy it looks like a fat man on a tread mill when I try and take a shot. So now why does the old del play it pretty flawless with the same internet connection?? Is there a Vista issue I'm missing? Firefox and IE8 do exactly the same thing

Still no help from EA on this?
Nice to know they "read" all threads.
Obviously only reply to ones that don't show a problem with this game.

This is the slowest I've seen this game. Ever. Waiting 3-5 minutes between holes for it to load. I was actually thinking about buying this game, and trying out the rest of the game instead of just the "open courses." But if people who have already purchased the game and are paying customers and are still getting these problems, this obviously isn't a product that looks desirable to me.

It only takes like 5 - 15 seconds to load the next hole, on Chrome, on my 5 year old computer, with a 2 yr old gfx card.

Maybe I'm just lucky.

excrutiatingly slow to load between shots, to the point of being unplayable...a really good game with huge EA support, should never lose players because of lag.

Well, how bout it EA?
Will slow loads, lag and disconnects ever get fixed in this game, or just put on the back burner?

I discovered something accidently last night and after much experimentation,my observations lead me to believe that the Unity Player is the basis for lag and sluggishness.I could be wrong,I don't think so,but I'll report what I did and what I observed, computer whizzes and the DEV's can decide for themselves.

I was playing a round on The Predator,I was just getting ready to putt on hole 3 and the lag started. Before I could close my browser,my phone rang and I answered it.When I returned, the lag had disappeared, which I found interesting because I'd never seen it happen before.I kept playing and when the lag appeared again,I sat and waited and it disappeared again.

I have Speedfan and EVGA precision installed to keep an eye on my fan speeds,CPU usage and temps and GPU usage and temps.I observed that during these lag times,CPU usage was 1% and GPU usage was 0% in XP.When the lag stopped,CPU usage was 60-70% and GPU usage was about 65%.

I have a dual-boot system with XP-SP3 and 7 Ultimate, both 32 bit.I went from XP to 7,started another round and when the lag started,I observed the same thing with the CPU,GPU usage is always at 0 in 7.I started doing a little experimenting, changing in-game graphics settings and no matter what I had them set at,I got lag.Up until recently,I had never experienced any lag, even on super settings.

I tried 4 different browsers,Opera,Chrome,Firefox and IE8 in XP and 7 with different in-game graphics settings and always had the same results, little or no CPU and GPU usage while the lags occurred.

This leads me to believe that Unity Player has to be the culprit, as anyone familiar with computers at all knows, high CPU and GPU usage will make it freeze or stutter, not low usage.

To be sure what I was observing was correct and the lags weren't caused by high CPU or GPU usage just before the lags occurred,I watched the softwares on-screen while playing a round.Everything was normal until the lag started, then everything dropped to 0.

Different connections, connection speeds and/or servers could not possibly cause these things to happen, only a software could.Since Unity Player is the only software that's installed to make this game work, that pretty much narrows it down.

Maybe someone here or the DEV's have a different take on what I've stated and observed,if so,great, maybe it will help to solve the problems occurring.I know lots of people say they have no problems and until recently,I was one of them, but the ones of us that are having problems now, surely would like to have them resolved.Hopefully, what I've said will lead to the resolution very soon, and that's better than having the revolution very soon.

My computer is nowhere near top of the line but it's always handled everything else I've ever thrown at it quite easily, except this game, that is.

Something I noticed last night that hadn't happened the night before was that,if your ball is in the air when the lag starts,it immediately drops toward the ground. It's like it hits a 30 mph headwind and all power is lost.

I tested my RAM,CPU and GPU,all are fine, so I know it's not my computer.I don't get the disconnects and slow loading or no loading, that lots of others are experiencing but the in-game lag is a big problem.

Yup, I was playing and guess what? Game froze, and now I can't get back in. I am SO far away from actually purchasing this game it's not even funny.
