I don't know about you but i can barely tell the difference between the new jersey's in 08, i mean i know every team is getting new designs but arn't they supposed to be extremely tight like at the world juniors and the all star game, i was hoping you would be able to see more of a difference. Can anyone else see anything that im missing?

Columbus, Boston, Washington, and Carolina.

If the screenshot does not have one of these teams in it (unless it's a very early screenshot), then it does not have the new jerseys. Those are the only teams that EA is allowed to show the new jerseys of. And yes, they are much tighter and different looking in the game, like they should be.

cool

not great for the fans though... is was good when they had the loose shirts, i cant see 16,000 people going to a hockey game wearing skin tight tops.

well, fans arent wearing shoulder pads, so i doubt they will be that tight. plus, the replicas will obviously be different than the authentics.

I just dont like this. There was nothing wrong with the jerseys. The NHL is fading away right now and they have bigger problems then there jerseys at the moment.

that is because they are moving team to places like Kansas City and Las Vegas who dont even know what hockey is!!!!! Bettman wants the NHL to expand in the USA and go out of bussiness. All the Canadian teams are making money while so many american teams are loosing millions

BRING MORE TEAMS TO CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bettman is the worst commisioner in sports history. With the way things are going i am seriously worried that this sport may dissapear. When your stanley cup finals ratings are bein beat out by build a better burger than you have serious problems! Its a shame that this has happened.

Im just pissed because of the way hockey is being treated. When you watch shows like around the horn they just fuckk around with it all the time. They are constantly making fun of the game. I am being told also that youth hockey in the USA around the mite level is dissapearing. None of the kids are playing anymore. Im just really mad because this is a great sport that is really going downhill.

all we need is someone who is willing to take 15 years to life for the game of hockey, he would be an even bigger hockey hero than wayne gretzky! lol

I don't think at all that the sport's gonna die, they just need to *cough*get rid off*cough* Bettman and start getting people into the game again. Maybe get another team up here in Canada, get some real TV contracts for the US, anything that sparks more interest in the sport.

Watching a game in Chicago or somewhere only to see the arena about as full as a minor league game in Canada is really kind of sad when you compare it to teams like Vancouver... consecutive sellouts for over two years. Bettman needs to realize all this and actually do something about it, or teams will start moving all over the place.

They need to get off of Versus to. Anyone know how long there contract with versus is? We need to go back to ESPN where people can actually see the games.

Thing is ESPN doesn't want them. NHL is ESPN 2 material these days. For American's anyways.

The Stanley Cup finals received LESS than 3 million viewers during Primetime on NBC...trust me, ESPN doesn't want to touch that.
