Why doesnt EA put in WHL, OHL, QMJHL, AHL instead of these Euopean leagues? They did the same thing with Madden, when they could have added the CFL for us Canadian fans. I guess the canadian fans arent as important. Funny, because EA sports is a canadian company.

Because not everything is aimed towards North American consumers.

i also want whl ohl etc...but thats not a reason for just geting rid of the euro's

There's no way there's gonna be [Canadian]HL teams, the roster changes too rapidly.

they put in the european leagues so more european hockey fans will want to buy it. because most of the fans in europe might not like the nhl

Well...they probably still like the NHL. It's like when I play Fifa I sometimes enjoy playing the MLS league you know?

id like the major juiner teams to but theres twice as many teams in the chl than the nhl and like the guy said rosters change to quickly

ea wants to focus on the actual teams not worrying if theres not 1 player one the team that he started off with

Getting the AHL is quite an accomplishment (I personally did not think I'd see the day), but including the junior leagues IMHO would be downright difficult, especially if they included the real players. As it is, I don't think '08 (I could be wrong) has a licence on AHL players, and therefore I doubt actual AHL players are in the game.

AHL does have the real players i heard

There should be enough room for all the leagues.... I mean Fifa 08 has 30 leagues and 15 000 players.

i dont care for the junior leagues, i just want the players from them to be in the draft so that there's no ted pie or other dumb names

Jr. players names can never be included in the game until they are Pro's.

EA has to be more creative in making names for the draft. Maybe pick up a phone book from all the Europeon countries, Canada and Quebec and maybe a couple of pages from american ones

i'm thinking just because they aren't professional leagues ex ahl. all of the other leagues are juniors.

i agree... you should also be able to sign players from other leauges
