Q: Will there be a superstar mode?
A: No, we dedicated an incredible amount of resources to get gameplay where you and we wanted it to be. We have authentic depth including 30 different practice types, AHL, Dynasty improvements, created plays, goalie mode, where you play from the goalie's perspective, interactive create player, and many other new features that you'll learn about soon.


So lets put an end to all these threads about Superstar mode PLEASE. I know alot of you want it but it isn't going to happen this year.

this isnt a dup...he is stating and making it CLEAR that superstar mode isnt in the game because nobody really knew if it was...guess we will have to wait for nhl09 for that...but 09 will be amazing because hopefully they will put alot of work into that mode!

ya the 1v1 with crazy legs that is like 9 pages long and it is said by him at the end. Alot of people arnt that big of loser to look through every page to see if he said anything about the mode....another thing the game comes out in like 2months so calm down

if anyone knows about posting and duplicates around here apart from the mods and Crazylegs it is me.

So FYI this is not a duplicate this is stating something that was provided in an info thread that some people may not read.

and crazylegs, buster and guru have been on here and saw no reason to hide it or lock it so take off eh!

i bet this "big secret" that they havent released yet has something to do with online. That su.cks for me cause i dont really play xbox live...it lags way too much

I'm a bit disappointed about the No Superstar Mode concerning 08. I get very tactical about the NHL series. Update first, hit the ice last.

as long as it is in NHL 09 i will be happy. Hopefully EA really works on superstar mode and adds in other leagues like the ohl whl and a bunch of other leagues. Thats sick they got the AHL this year. I doubt that other leagues will happen in the next couple of years but this mode has so much potential, alot more the madden (even though madden superstar mode is alot of fun)

Imagine playing in the OHL for the London Knights, getting drafted by a NHL team, Then you go play for their farm team annd you work your way up to the NHL starting lineup. If you wernt good enough for the NHL too and didnt want to play in the AHL you could go to a European team and play for them a couple years

THAT WOULD BE SIIIIIIIIIIIICK!! If there wasnt enough room for everthing on a disc too they could put dynasty mode on one disc and have a second CD with superstar mode!

that would absolutly destroy the 2K NHL games
