Im a pc gamer, and I own a 360 as well.

Just seems PC gamers are getting clan support cause there arent many console clans. I played BC1 there were virtually no clans, any organized ones anyways. The one clan I did found that was organized, actually did most of their stuff on pc; website etc. Also xbox live/ psn is not really good for clan gaming, sure they have headset support but no where as near as organized as a vent server.

As for prone I have no clue why consoles are not getting it. The last BC didnt have it either and MW2 took out prone. For some reason console FPS games seem to being doing away with prone. So dont only blame BF.

The higher player limit comes with having the specs of a PC, if people want to believe it or not a good gaming PC is still better than a console.

As for deserving a response I don't think you are going to get it since it is DICE game after all. PC gamers demanded a response to the COD fiasco and didnt get *. You can either buy a gaming pc which isnt much, a good one can be built for under 800$ plus a PC can do other things. Or you can buy the game for a console its still going to be a good game regardless, BC1 didnt have prone and clan support but was still awesome.

Zerk, if you tell EA/DICE what the fans are saying, complaining, etc. you mind shouting out a word about the BF1943 situation? Seriously, I haven't been able to play a game in three weeks, and if you look at forum, some people haven't been able to play for even longer than that.

cough*MW2 and OPFDR2*cough. Its called competition... so you actually have to do somthing, to attract your customers. Its cool that you put some new stuff in, like "perks" and kit-customation, but if you guys dont add simple things like prone and clansupport (comon... just 4 or 5 letters for our names), then battlefield bc2 just becomes another sh!ty battlefield, which will have a really good base, but you guys just * it up (again).

I don't understand how not having the ability to lay down in a game makes a person not want it.

That's easy, the people that just camp and want to snipe all game that don't contribute to the team are the ones crying about it. So what if it's not realistic, what part of the game is, you can take multiple bullets before going down then you get revived by a defibrillator.... that argument has been done too much and is asinine. I'm glad they kept prone out of the game, it ruins game play especially when a sniper is in a great spot where nothing but explosives can reach them.

Modern Warfare 2 does have prone.. so IDK where you guys are getting that from. But yeah prone does need to be included in BC2, that's just ridiculous..

I think they should include the majority of the things the PC gamers will have. More people play on consoles these days anyway...in all though...I don't want DICE to do an Infinity Ward on us console gamers.

all some of us in the console community want is something in place so we can play with more than 4 friends,at the moment i`m playing mw2 and it is good that we can play with at least 8 friends,i would probably be playing bfbc1 right now if you could play with more than 3 friends and that is the reason why alot of my friends are not playing bfbc1 i met my current group of friends through bfbc1 and 1 year later still playing with them,that is how it is on xbl you meet friends online and the list grows then you have alot of friends to play with if dice want to get an exra chunk out of mw2 console community why don`t they send a message across that you can play with up to 12 friends 3 squads of four on consoles like they did with the p.c community regarding dedicated servers everyone i have spoke to hopes this is true,so zerk if you are reading this please forward this on to gvd.

Do you know why consoles get more sales? Because they are almost as good as PCs (no modding, boo hoo) Cost WAY less, and have fewer problems.

NO offence butt i own a pc and have put a lot of money into having it work well with games as i use for other things to butt i have nothing against console owners? Iff you are truly upset at no prone why are you complaining about pc users. internet gamming was born hear and is the cause for consoles to go online . now the way i see it is consoles refuse to give u advantages like browsing game servers and freedom to join a peer to peer or dedicated server. choice is the key word here. pc users are used to having dedicated servers since 2000 and to get a console port just makes pc users mad butt not mad at the console owner. EA is giving consoles dedi servers as well witch is a step foward for consols not to mention ps3's resistance 2 fall of man's 60 player 30 vs 30 online non lag servers is a step foward. so the question is should u bee upset at pc users or your console. that is the question.
Any way i wish both platforms had the same choices butt not to deminish the pc users choice by forcing console internet play witch ea is not doing to me the pc user or u the console owner. I wish you will have prone to butt thats your battle not mine.

I think it sucks that console is getting the shaft here, but on the same hand, I spent alot of hard earned money into my PC and im tired of getting the shaft like I did when I bought MW2. Yes console is getting bigger sales than PC, but there really isnt a reason to f** PC owners over because of that, its the PC community that brought gaming to what it is today.

I have a few things to say, but I'll keep them short
1. I have played beta on my roomate's PS3 and it is good, no prone, and there is no excuse for this, on any platform. It is a big disadvantage esp. for snipers.
2. I game on a Pc, proof is 6400+ windsor and GTX 260. I didn't buy MW2 because it is a console port from Xbox, and this was also unacceptable. No dedicated servers is a no go. This is part of the reason I am here.
3. Consoles and PCs are equal, yet not with the same things. Consoles have sports, racing, some FPS and RPG. Anyone play RTS on a console?? Kinda doubt it. PC has RTS, RPG, and FPS. Consoles and pc are equal, but different.
4. If PS3 and Xbox people want clan support they can host their own match. If they were to post dedicated servers w/ consoles this would help, in my opinion. Game is solid. If consoles feel they are getting the shaft, do not down PC. Blame EA and Dice.
