1. Bring back the old game play features. QB vision, man lock, lead blocker control.

2. More realistic OL/DL play. On most passing plays, the DEs should rush up field forcing the OTs to drop back about 3-5 yards. The OTs should square themselves to the sidelines when blocking this deep. This would create a sense of a pocket. Its too easy to scramble out of the pocket right now with a fast QB. DTs should compliment the DEs. When one gets through a misses the DT on his side should move over to fill his void since that's the logic place for the QB to run. In run blocking, the DEs should take priority in stopping the outside runs and the OL blocking needs a total overhaul. You have OTs blocking DTs on dive plays when it should be the OG. You have OGs going to the next level before blocking the man in front of him. On toss/off-tackle plays the OL seems to slant the wrong way sometimes.

3. Give us multiple online ranked modes. Give us one with all the features turned on. (assuming you add some indepth ones like QB vision etc) and one that is totally vanilla for those that don't like the game to be too complexed.

4. Total Control Defense. Rather than having to select a defender to change his assignment, let us have a button to push for each player and then we can hot route him from there. This would be much like the hot routes on offense. You almost had this in the older Maddens when you could just press one WR. Here is a video of it, explaining it better than I can.

5. Hot routing from the play book. Instead of editing the play after I pick it which sometimes doesn't give me enough time, allow me to do my hot routes from the play book.

6. More in-depth coaching strategies in franchise mode. Let us not just choose how much we run/pass but also the system we run. Is our offense run and shoot or power O? Do we run a lot of zone coverages or is it a lot of man coverage. Raiders run 2 man under a lot. The Bucs, used to run the Tampa 2. The Steelers have always run a zone blitz scheme where the Eagles run a man blitz.

7. Better double coverage. There are a few plays in the play book where you can double coverage someone, but the coverage is horrible. Both defenders do the same thing. Either one should take the inside and the other should take the outside or one should play over while the other plays under.

8. Bracket coverage. One reason why passes to RBs are so deadly compared to real life, is that in the NFL LBs play bracket coverage in man to man assignments. CBs also use this against bunch formations.

9. Varying levels of QBs handling pressure. One thing that separates a great QB from an average one, is that a great QB can sometimes complete a pass with a defender in his face. If a QB is surrounded by defenders when he throws, he should have decreased accuracy, more so if he isn't very good.

10. More passes tipped at the line. Mostly when a short QB tries to throw a short bullet pass.

I want to see create a player and create a team to be improved. I miss having secondary uniforms and more than just an away and a home secondary uniform...some teams have like 5 different sec uniforms. Also more logos. i like to create 32 teams and make a totally different league. I also would like to se the rating system change. I hate when some of the guys i draft, that are great players when they're young, drop when they are 8 or 9 years veterans. i just want them to stay at or near to the highest rating. Of course only the good guys will.

1-day to night transitions


2-more fluid running motion such as in and outta cuts by players in game.

3- it may be stupid to you but its small but adds something to me, mouth guards eye black new gear for created players and so on.

4.fix the sideline catches ita suck if a super-bowl is on the line and i throw a corner route to my wide-out and he doesn't drag the foot and dot the eye.... and just better catch animations period.

5.different commentators for Monday, Sunday, Thursday, and playoff games on field displays such as u see on MNf.
o and better stats like u see during real nfl games.. it might help if madden can stream stats via xbl or the ps3 network


6.more lively sidelines... and mini scuffles between players showing how big the moment is.


7.loose sleeves for qb's

8. fix the battle in the trenches with more double teams etc.

9.please fix superstar mode can a young man have his superstar be put threw the combine and be at the draft, u kno contracts disputes let the superstar ability have some umph in the play calling.

10.and FIX the COMMENTARY.

Alright these are my idea's.

1. First off it will be another 2 to 3 years before madden can make all the proper changes to fix madden and will take one to two console changes to get it right. If they loose the rights to the NFL next year it may come faster than expected.

2.

A.The top priority for Madden 11 above anything else in the game should be WR and CB animations and interaction animations. Just anything and everything with those positions. Toe tapping, swatting, dropped pass animations, bumping, both jumping up in the air while someone is trying to rocket catch. Tighter, tighter, tighter coverage in Man coverage.

B. In Zone coverage the awareness of LB's, S's, CB's should be based on where the QB is looking.

3. A new QB visions needs to be brought back to Madden 11. Rather the cone or a new version where the camera is moved closer to the QB and you switch between the routes you mark as read 1, 2, 3, 4 or whoever is out for the catch. Also the straight up QB Throw accuracy stat needs to be removed and just replaced with the following stats.

a. Throw Power
b. Throw Power Control (ability to change between a lob and a bullet.)
c. Throw Accuracy Short, Medium, Long
d. Throw Accuracy Under Pressure
e. Throw Accuracy on Run
f. Coverage Awareness

4. More pre-snap calls. As for calling where you think the blitz is coming from, so nano blitzing is coming from. Looking at your wrists (new audible system by pressing a button) to pick between 10 to 30 plays pending on a new stat of the QB which will be Knowledge.

5. The stats for players in most positions needs to be cut in half and made more direct and simple. The awareness stat needs to be completely removed and replaced with a more specific stat regarding to the specific position. Ex. QB - Coverage Awareness / RB - Lane or Gap Awareness / OL - Blitz Awarness

6. New run blocking animations. For when you run into your own OL and bump against them or try to push them out of the way (like in 2k5 and 2k8APF/ look online for examples). Or your OL/WR make a barrier around you when running up the field and stay with you to block as you run with them if need be. In other words a pursuit of your RB to help block for him.

7. Get ride of the Hit stick and make it a tackling stick. Where pending how your press on the stick is where you try to tackle the player. Low on the stick, hit low, high on the stick high. If you want a normal tackle, just run into them. Or if you want a hard hit, hit X (for X box) and dive at the guy running at sprinting speed.

8. A brand spanking new/old kicking/punting system that is like the old days where the meter goes back and forth for accuracy. The more accuracy you have the slower it goes back and forth. That simple. Making Field goals and punting a challenge instead of the easiest thing in the world.

10. No more single tackles. Every tackle should link to another tackle. Keep the new tackle system just make the tackles from one to another simpler and more direct.

11. In Franchise Mode let players stats grow specifically to their stats at the end of a season. If the player at the end of the season was the #1 WR in the NFL and was a 75 overall, based on his stats and being the #1 WR for that season, needs to go up to atleast a 88 to a 90 overall. Because anyone that catches around 110 for 1200 yards needs to be represented in the correct way.

12. Stamina needs to now become more of an issue in this years Madden. In game stat drop should happen from players being tired. Every player needs to have a 10 stat drop for their overall and individual stats, if not more. Then the toughness stat should determine how much those stats drop from being tired. That way there is a clear showing of why you should not play certain people when they are tired.

13. Recognizing individual players. On and only on the Pro difficulty CPU actually does pick plays if you continue to use the same plays over and over again. In the Ian blogs at the beginning of the year he even stated the pro difficulty was the difficulty that it was going to take place in. But it only recognized the play and the route, not the individual that was in the route or the play. So individual players like Steve Smith, Andre Johnson, Chad Ochocinco need to be noticed in the game.

14. Franchise mode needs in season stat growth like NFL Head Coach. Where each player has an overall that they can gain up to or drop down to. Though they start the season an 80 they can drop to a 70 or become a 90 overall pending on how they play game to game and how often game to game they keep it up.

15. Look we want a sim football game. Though making sure every thing is authentic, which does mean cloths and stadiums. The focus needs to be placed on gameplay. Worry about everything else once you get gameplay down. Keep the graphics you have and build on the most important point of the game and that is making it a Sim football game. EA, you have the rights to the only Sim Football game. If you don't follow through, your going to lose a lot more fans. Honestly, I believe if you guys rebuy the rights and keep up your pace it will be over for you. No you won't lose all your fans, just enough to hurt the company severely. Then rather you will have to become more of an Arcade style game to appease the youth or keep trying at what it is that your suppose to be trying.

That is my ideas. If anybody has anything to input to all this, be my guest. These are the things that will make Madden the most realistic football game ever. I promise you that. All of these things will fix the gameplay 100%. I have my ideas on fixing Franchise mode as well, but that will be saved only if you guys want that list as well. If you do say so after giving comments to what I have already posted.

Atheotic, I agree With everything you said I like that every thing you wrote ACTUALLY made sense-so many people come on these forums and sound rediculous, while others have good input it is rather hard to try to understand what they are saying-simply because they don't know how to express themselves to where everbody can understand them.....Damn good info tho, hopefully EA will acknowledge this at some point (sooner than later)

Now that being said I am a TRUE Die-Hard Franchise-Mode Fan-and majority of the gameplay works for me and I would at the very least like to see the glitches fixed. But I really want to hear what your ideas are for FRANCHISE MODE...........I want to see your list

I would love it if we had an Option to TURN OFF THE OVERALL RATING. I dont want to see it. I want to play with my players to see who I like better, who fits my scheme better. Think of playing franchis, and you have been losing for 3 seasons in a row, but your QB is putting up solid numbers. If you didnt know his overall rating, you would try to replace him, instead try to draft other players. But really he never got above a 75 overall.

In real life, nobody kows exactly how good a player is. Its hard to fill holes on your team. And i want that same feeling in madden 11

I want to see when one player is making a tackle, another can come in and hit the ball carrier , AND not just bounce off of them!! Lots of fumbles come from the second man in jarring the ball loose . Madden has never had this but needs it ... my god its next gen.

I would like to see the weather affect the players, and when you throw the ball deep your receiver actually go for the ball instead of watching the db pic it off. I like what they did with the commentary but after games when they interview a guy they just mouth it. lets put some vocals in them. I think they need to bring back the customize play and make your own plays. For superstar that has gotten really boring make it so we have to work up not start over a 90- overall player and your 60 overall. they need to go back and make the drills and for practice have you do your real position drills. if your a Receiver then you do their drills and LB's do their drills and so on. They should also look at the D-line over the shoulder pic that happens way too often. thats my opinion let me know what you think.

I've spent the last couple of months playing the Superstar mode only, and there are a lot of elements to change in my opinion.

First of all, there should be some kind of accomplishment list. In this year's version, you can only see the stats earned on the field (passing yard or percentage, TD's on offense - tackles or interceptions on defense); what about the titles, the W-L record, and more significantly the trophies won (MVP, SB rings, etc) ??? It's sad that nothing materializes those titles and awards.

I miss the earlier menu which was set in our rookie's appartment. It really helped identifying to the player, and you could see how his environment evolved as you started earning decent money or if you moved teams. It was also pretty cool to be able to change the looks of your player (haircut etc).

Maybe it would be nice to allow a "deserve your starter status"-mode... I mean how can a rookie start ahead of some of the best players in the league from day 1 on ? You should fight to become a starter on the field in preseason for example, manage to fulfill a series of accomplishment (minimum nbr of tackles or INT for DB's) !

Then, how is it possible that when you play on defense, your offense sucks that much !?? I was a FS and signed in Atlanta after a few seasons, because I could see that Matt Ryan, Turner etc were still there for some time. I hoped they would help me and the defense win games. But in the four years I've been there, Ryan (who had climbed up to 93) threw twice as many picks as TD's ! He actually threw for less than 2500 yard in each season, and averaged between 18 and 23 INT every year.

Finally, where are the celebration videos in Superstar mode ? When you win a SB, it's like winning a preseason game... No excitement, no ceremony... Too bad !

Please do something to make this mode more realistic and attractive ! Tx

It'd be great if single player franchises could have their rosters online, and would be able to log in from any computer to do things like reorder the depth chart, cut players, sign free agents, and scout players for the draft. Basically perform the same coaching interface options that are done between games. This would also free up more time for me to play games when I actually have a chance to turn on my PS3, and not have to spend so much time tweaking my roster.

I'm a web designer that sits in front of a computer all day, and about a hundred times a day I think about how amazing it would be if I could mess around with my roster during the day. If this feature was added, basically my life would be complete and I would no longer have to battle with my wife for the TV while I adjust my depth chart after the draft, so she can watch the Bachelor...

I think if you could add more drama to the game that would be amazing. For example during franchise mode when you have a monday night game, Put it on a monday night setting with the monday night announcers, or sunday night or the diffrent CBS and Fox announcers. Number 2 I would like to be able to see more taunting from the players like if you get a big run I want to see some dancing celbrations ect.....along with that I want to see more unsportsmanlike conduct penalty's Ex: having rifts with players from other teams, I know as a packer fan a big Story was Nick Barnett wanting to take out Brett Favre. Small things like that can go along way in franchise mode. Also bring back the ability as front office mode to change up the prices of tickets etc, etc. 3rd A cool feature but probably very far off in franchise mode would be controlling the land and facility's you operate as a front office personal, example would be like controlling the sims you can build up new practice facility's parking lot expansion for tailgaters, its great that you can add little things right now in franchise like HD Tv's in suits but you don't see where you spent that money, it would be great if you could add that feature as well but likely far off. Just a few suggestions, but for sure make franchise have more drama with story lines with teams the biggest is things like the Brett Favre Saga.

It seems like it gets tougher and tougher each time I want to post a Madden wish on this thread. Madden NFL rewind would be a nice addition. The purpose of this feature would allow us to watch the game as if it was a real NFL broadcast after playing it. It took me 15 minutes to come up with this idea.

I Think that online co-op franchises should be available as if two users are connected to the same box. Alot of people including many friends and family members of mine like to create franchises together. Using our strengths and complimenting each others weaknesses we are able to play for hours on end. I think that the online franchise was a good addition, however, with the ability to play along side as well as against friends in franchise mode will be a more effective way of keeping people interested. Also being able to take your franchise team and put them against others in a schedule would be a good addition to Madden 11 as well.

1. Playmaker (offense and defense) the D-pad is there for the QB pointing where he need this soldiers to go or a RB to a LM to block for him and Defense and INDIv Defense like 06 and Db can decide to jump the route like the pass you guess wrong and that's yo *.

2. D-line how is Allen going to be on the cover when he is so infective I need the bull rush and the pass rush of the edge
And ea said u have to be and the pocket but people still run back and get the pass off.

3. Db I sick of a soon as you throw the ball everyone stop and react to the ball like there not running full speed, where is the head and if they not look they can't react to the ball.

4. Wr I was confuse when Larry on the cover. I remember when someone was on the cover it has something to do with them or their field of play. Larry 6+ and DB's 5'10 jump ball Larry wins every time period.

5. Precession Passing,Trick Kickoff,Created Plays,Hit Stick 3.0,Wildcat better I need to be able to put any player at different postion like if my WR used to be a QB and I wanna use him there and why can't my QB scramble in the wildcat is he stuck, more detail about challange calls, more plays or audible's while in the hurry-up offense to keep the defense guessing, better defensive mini camp like the trentes, When I scramble with my QB he should run like A RB or Wr same moves, and bring back Lead Blocking.

6. (Speed) This is important Madden need a new engine on this one because if my WR speed is 80 and a LB is 80 that doesn't mean the LB should be runing side by side.

7. Customize the superstar like AP and his tape finger and black snake rubber lebow pads and the created player where the mouth guard, tearf pads, eye patches, helmets coming off & tatoos and other things.

8. Last just better animation like letting the RB hit the hole without his lineman stop him or runnig in place you know what I mean
QB letting the ball go before he hit or let the ball go the way I'm throwing it not the other side and more roster space, and since its a passing league more long balls.

Look at the original rosters this year and compare them to now. In Madden the max progression is usually 6. Look at Chris Johnson and Jarius Byrd they've gone up over 10 and some players have dropped more than 10. Try to get the stats in franchise mode to affect ratings the same as the stats in real life affect ratings in roster updates.

Does anyone else feel their wasting their time posting here. I mean we do it every year and are always dissapointed.
