What is the sense in having this "report a game bug" forum if EA doesn't even bother to reply?

Matter of fact, haven't seen much replying at all from EA in the Forums these past few weeks.
But, they continue to say "we are listening". Well listening and replying go hand in hand.

I have had unbelievable lag the last 3 days... This is the first time i have ever had a problem with lag. i can't complete a round without my swing meter glitching out at 4 or 5 times a round....

Add me to the list of folks who are having problems with lag between screens. It's obviously a distrubuted application issue, not a use platform issue. It's easily solved.

If this isn't resolved soon, I may join the ranks of players who toss in the clubs. I'm tired of the frustration with a poor product that I've paid money for.

Lag is so bad on straits couldn't play.

I ended my first round after 2nd hole at Whistling Strait. Lag and Jerky meter was not cooperating to well. Anytime I try to play after 12 noon EDT. I will then usually wait til next day early morning and it is fine.

Edit: I was wanting to play a tourney today, so I tried 3 Click @ Oakmont. To my surprise it played with no lag or jerky meter.
And I just finished it and no 8PM disconnects.

Just experienced lag the whole tbmp round on TPC Boston. Have not had any problems until this morning. My settings are on low & the course has been fine. My connection is cable & have new dell computer. It was a terrible round trying to get through the lag. jmitch100

I've just come back to this game after a month or two away to see if anythings changed. It has and now I can't even play one round due to unbelievable lag! Shots going everywhere and was +4 after3 holes! what the hell is going on here Ea?

First post so hi all.

The in-game lag, especially when taking shots can be extremely hit and miss (no pun intended!) and can totally destroy a good scoring round. I was doing ok an hour ago 'till the 10th hole and then lag kicked in, making shots very unpredictable. Was running with all graphic detail on high; setting all to low, switching to full screen or optimising laptop for best performance (unnecessary stuff turned off, etc, etc.) made no difference. This problem does seem to only happen when there is a high number of players logged in. I had also played this morning (low number of players) and no lag at all. So there's my answer but more often than not, I'd be playing at peak times (after 9pm).

Shame really because while I could be possibly interested in paying to be able to play all the other courses (be a while though... money is tight), this present issue is off-putting and don't think I'm alone in this.

On the positive side. When game is running ok, it's smooth, responsive and a joy to play. Wore this game out a few years back on the PS2.

Wonder how long it will take Ea to delete this post. They're more worried about posts than performance.

I have been playing at Bay Hill today and the course is heavily infested with lag from hole 4 onwards. It is so hard to play on its just terrible. Whenever you move your arrow or use draw or fade it lags heavily as well.. grrrrrrrrr

45 day cut streak ended Tuesday because of the extremely slow loading before round and in between holes. I really love this game but it's wearing thin. I've been begging a couple of buddies to join up but that ends now, I can't do it given the performance as of late.

So...I've been here since April and was wondering if anyone else has been having problems with the 17th and 18th holes @ Harbour Town?...ever since I have joined these 2 holes lag out everytime I play this course. It seems weird that just these 2 holes are affected......I do also experience some pretty bad slowdown/lag on the predator but I'm pretty sure that has to do with how graphically intense the course is and my system just can't keep up!! .......I can't see this as the problem on Harbour Town for me as it only affects the last 2 holes.....any answer from either the forum or EA would be much appreciated!

I've been here since May and I have been enjoying the whole experience until now. The lag has just been horrible, the game is pretty much unplayable as it is now. What's up EA?? Don't expect me to renew come May unless you can fix whatever you have screwed up. My graphic settings are now all at low and it still sucks. Please

Last few weeks lag has become so bad the courses area unplayable. Also keep getting message that my computer setup isn't optimal.
