I said it before 12 came out, but what would be really cool to me would be the old school Free-4-All making its return and not only that, being able to play Free-4-All online ala EASHL, where you use your BAP and keep track of all your stats, wins, etc. That to me is an exciting mode. I haven't been truly excited for a game since 09 when EASHL was first announced and I just want to feel that excitement again, I want a new, fun addicting mode. If not this then something new at least. EASHL is still great, it's just getting bitter ever since we could only have one game at a time going.

- More Goalie animations if at all possible
- Goalie Stances (perhaps like batting stances in MLB)
- Can we PLEASE design our own helmets on your website and SOMEHOW import them into the game!!
- BETTER DEFENCE AI PLEASE.. they play like 4 year olds
- Make the practice mode have actual goalie drills and make them give XP (not a lot obviously)
- If you make 40 saves in a game and you loose 1-0, please don't give us 0 XP
- Along the same lines as the above post, If the puck takes 5 bounces before going into the net or it's a near impossible save to make, have the coach say good effort or something not just a "You've got to keep the puck out of the net." ... I'm not superman coach..
- On cross crease passes if you're in butterfly and sliding towards the puck your goalie will make desperation saves (I've only seen it happen a couple of times) and same for on the goal line and when you're not totally square to the shooter on a rebound
- A T Push maybe? (for goalies)
- Pre game warm ups (especially for goalies) and let us walk out to the music at the start of the game (or give us some better animation)
- FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHEN WE WIN THE STANLEY CUP CAN WE PLEASE SKATE WITH IT AND TAKE PART IN THE CELEBRATION
- Player emotions (especially for the computer)
- Other players getting into fights in your BAP (something to do with emotion)
- Please make it so the ice gets scuffed up when you skate on it, not get scuffed up at certain times in the period
- Blood, lost teeth and cuts etc
- Play for your country during the Olympic break (If you can swing the copyright stuff)
- Actual Country sweaters not just a sweater with a flag...

What I want
1. in Be a Gm and Be a Pro - three stars of the week and month and rookie of the month. This way you can track how your players are doing and who is hot around the league.
2. In Be a GM and I guess Be a Pro too - Give the CPU buyer and seller mentality. This would make the trade deadline more fun and realistic.
3. ONLINE BE A GM - I want to be able to start a league online with my friends but be able to draft players, trade players, improve players, ie everything you can do in be a GM.
Anywho I hope EA reads these

Diving:
if you dive on the ice it should take away endurance.
If someone dives then tripping over players who are on the ice should be put into the game rather than skating into them and they move with you and get up in an animation that is static. Remember that physics BS you fed us?
Diving should hurt you if you dive into the boards head first like an idiot, but it doesnt cause it blocks passes. Diving is to easy for people to dive and get right back up like nothing happened despite they just dove there head into the boards.

MY WISHLIST:
1.)Please add the NCAA teams and the USHL! KHL???
2.)Bring Back THE WHALE! Other classic teams would be nice too...
3.)Add actual arenas to HUT.
4.)online play in the outdoor classic arena option
5.)update fighting, add some blood on the ice... Player ejections!
6.)Add all star skills competition
7.)Update HUT team to include better AHL affiliate and NHL line chemistry and better line chemistry with the team and affiliates a player is drafted by... Examples: landeskog should play well with AVS players... The wild and aeros should have good line chemistry combos, etc...

1. Practice using your online player without the need of having more than one player with you to do so.
2. Practice using your online player without the need of having to be apart of an online club in order to do so.
You can already Practice by going to GAME OPTIONS, but when you do this you are practicing with a character that is not your online player. You can already Practice by going to your Hockey Club online and going to Club Practice (but you need at least one other person with you to do so). These options are awesome and I take advantage of them all the time. The only problem is needing to be in a club and to always have at least another person with you in order to use your online player in a practice situation.
Otherwise, I feel NHL 12 is the greatest game I've ever owned.

i posted some earlier, but here are some more.
1. in trade block, be able to make a "untradables" list. i get tired of getting asked for my franchise players by other teams. they try handing you off two guys who are nowhere as good as the guy they're asking for. and if you say no, they just replace one of the two with another. also, you could always maybe fix the trade value.
2. it's been said before, but add in suspensions.
3. i also wouldn't mind seeing something like the cold/hot streak thing return. only the top notch core players should be playing 82 games. even then, not even the best players always play 82 games. and you see rookies and other plays also playing 82 games also, while only putting up 10 or so points. unless they're a tough guy, or a grinder, it doesn't make sense to me.
4. computer teams in be a gm signing their top picks asap. i noticed in about 2014-15 season, going into it, that Calgary's first round pick from 2011 (Sven Bartschi) wasn't signed and was an available player to sign.
5. i wouldn't mind seeing players tell you if they want to re-signed or not. like if they're unhappy with something, they want to not re-sign in the off-season. or having GM's not resign all their top players. sometimes things happen, or a team wants to rebuild after not making it to the finals if they're expected to.
6. going into a be a gm, the ability to create an "expansion" team. i think that'd be pretty cool. sometimes i just wanna kind of take a team and completely rebuild from the ground up.

- World Juniors + Olympics (most likely won't happen, but it is on my wishlist).
- Custom goalie masks.
- BAP start in any league (Euro leagues)
- BAGM start in CHL
- Trades in the CHL
- Better rankings of prospects and prospects should be more valuable in trades.
Problems in NHL 12
- Too many injuries, every day that sims by there's like 2-3 injuries in NHL alone.
- AI coaching should take slumping and hot players into the making of line combos.
- BAP whenever there's a PP it's not counted if you sim past it.
- After whistle reffing is terrible, I set it to authentic and players will push around my goalie and get no call, or I can shoot the puck after the whistle and not get an unsportsmanlike penalty.

Some ideas that could improve Be a GM:
1. PLEASE give us the option of full control over all 30 teams. That way, if some of the following problems are not fixed, we can at least fix them ourselves! The other 29 teams should still run by themselves, this would just give us the ability to edit all of the teams' lines, stop unrealistic trades from occuring, adjust player attributes mid-franchise, and sign free agents to different teams that should not sit in free agency for an entire year.
2. Create a larger gap in attributes and overalls between superstars, 1st liners, 2nd liners, 3rd liners, 4th liners, AHL players, CHL players, etc. This would help the superstars and good players stand out more. Players are given attributes on a scale of 1-99, but right now it seems like they are on a scale of 50-99. In my opinion, I think superstars' overalls should be in the 90's, 1st liners 83+, 2nd liners 79-83, 3rd liners 75-79, 4th liners in the 70-75, AHL players who are borderline NHL players 65-70, and AHL players 55-65.
3. Make player progression slower. Right now, young players progress too fast and end up becoming great players before the age of 25.
4. Make old players have larger decreases in ratings. Right now, too many old players are remaining great players. There are only a rare few that are Lidstroms.
5. Make the occurence of players developing into good players/superstars more rare. Right now, after a few years into Be a GM, there seems to be a big clutter of players ranked in the mid 80's or higher.
6. Don't let players get "stuck" in free agency who should not be there. Right now, there are still players who are ranked in the mid to low 80's who do not get signed in free agency. I think this has something to do with too many players being ranked too high. If ideas 2-5 are addressed, I think it would help solve this issue.
7. Make the CPU teams play their best players. Right now, CPU teams will play players who are rated lower than some of their scratched players. In some cases, these better players may also get sent down to the AHL. For example, a player ranked 82 overall might be in the AHL while that same team is starting a 74 overall player at the same position.
8. Smarter trade logic. Some unrealistic trades still exist.
9. Real life budgets. Right now, any team can spend up to the cap limit. This is unrealistic because teams like the New York Islanders, the Phoenix Coyotes, the Colorado Avalanche, and others simply are not given this kind of budget to work with. This could be implemented in Be a GM. In NHL 13, teams should earn bigger or smaller budgets based on their performance. They could tie this in with the owner's goals given to you in the beginning of the season. If you achieve the goal, you get a slightly bigger budget. If you fail to reach the goal, you receive a smaller budget.
10. Less frequent injuries. Right now, injuries occur too often. Be careful NOT to tune it down too low- we still want injuries!
11. Goalie fatigue. This is important because as of right now, there is really no reason to have a reliable backup goalie on your team.
12. Hot and Cold streaks. Bring these back! Players in real life are very streaky. Have their attributes increase/decrease based on performance.
13. Team Practices. Team practices were in the game at around NHL 04. This was a pretty cool feature that had a positive/negative affect on your players' morale, fatigue, and attributes based on how long the practice was. Maybe you could even make it a little more in depth. Examples are: shooting practice, special teams practice, bag skate, etc.
14. User-controlled Finances. This is a big one. Let us control all of the finances of our team. A GREAT example of this is in the MLB The Show series. It really adds to the immersion. We should have to higher or lower ticket/concession/parking/etc prices based on our team's performance.
15. Multi-player Be A GM. This is self-explanatory.
16. Custom season length. I don't really know why this was taken out, but a lot of people like playing shorter seasons than the full 82 game season.
17. Full stat history. Have every player's full stat history, including awards that they have won. You could also include a record book which would add to the immersion.
18. User-controlled Stanley Cup Celebration. This one is a huge one, in my opinion. Let us feel rewarded for a great season by allowing us to skate around with the cup. Have different buttons raise the cup in the air, kiss the cup, pass it to a teammate, etc. And DO NOT put a time limit on this! Let us skate around for as long as we want and have the user end the celebration when we want! For example: After skating around for a while, we could hit start which would take you to the team picture and then it's over.
19. Line Chemistry. Bring the line chemistry from HUT over to Be A GM. Have good line chemistry increase that line's players' attributes, neutral line chemistry do nothing, and bad line chemistry decrease their attributes.
That's all I can think of for now, I'll add to this list if I can think of anything else.

As far as online vs. goes:
Just fix the obvious glitch goals: top of circle toe-drag-wrister that freezes the goalie. This shot should obviously still go in sometimes but at least have the goalie MAKE an effort or get a piece of it. Near side glitch where the goalie slides away from post allowing an easy goal.
Better collision physics is a must! Pucks going through leg pads and blockers, sticks and blades, player's legs. The puck HAS to bounce off of whatever it hits if this game is going to be made better. That would solve bunches of problems in itself, at least that's what I think.
And a lot of people had some cool Be A GM suggestions that would definitely make me use that mode more often.

I would like to see attributes gone. You should choose the position and then the type of player. With certain abilities that specific type of player has should help them play. It should make the game more strategic. So if you level up to Superstar all the positions will be around 80 instead of being forced to play LW all the time. I want to control my poke checks and stick lifts without the game deciding whether I can match up against the offensive player and miss a bunch of times or actually help them score a goal. With that said, combining buttons like poke check and saucer pass is redundant. If the right analog is to control the stick, then you should be able to move it freely to cause deflections (for and against goals), poking, intercepting passes rather than just interfering with a pass because you were in the lane. Things like dribbling the puck would advance the game. Possibly a mini game in between periods to try and motivate the players for the next period instead of everyone getting into fights that hurt rather than help. The biggest problem I have is that I don't know whether I, my team or the game caused an error. Your best bet is to take a solid year developing another few months testing and release the game a year after that and build a really good game. 2K is gone there really is no pressure.
