I was playing the PC version of BC2 today, the single player mode, and the sound mysteriously dropped out. If I hit escape to go to the menu, it'd come back, but in game, it was dead silent.

I have an ATi Radeon 4850.

I recently bought Bad Company 2 on Steam. I CAN launch the game, but when i try to play anything,like SP and MP It will crash.
It says no ERROR messages,nothing. It just fades away and that's it. I would really appreciate any feedback, or fixes.

I have the full game post release. I'm having large issues with graphics and server connection. When I'm playing singleplayer, because MP doesn't work...mutli-coloured textures flash when explosions occur, on smoke, shadows, and makes it very difficult to shoot an enemy if you can't see them but a screen load of colours. Server connection has been annoying, when I try and connect it says that I have lost connection which I haven't because I went and tested another game afterwards. Thanks

Profanity is filtered. Very problematic bug.

Knife reg is terrible. Works when its not supposed to. Does not work when its supposed to.

So now that its released it works just like the beta, so all that said ITS JUST A BETA and get real , well I got news for ya its released and still plays like and has trouble just like the BEATA ..

dont know if its been reported yet, but all the dates when you get a badge are wrong. they all read 12/31/2007....

the machione gun with the shield has a bug!!!.. gun's window is black.. you can't see anything.

Mine too!!!,.. It took me on average 3 times of beating a mission to actually beable to go to the next. It would have the music like guys are still there, yet everyone was dead.

1. Dude, is this the first first-person shooter game you've ever played online? Most people will try to do their own thing. Voice communication doesn't work, and that pisses me off, but even so, when the entire 8-man team is playing a recon class it gets really frustrating when you can't get past the first two objectives in rush. Then, one of the recon people camping the attacking spawn with a 12 to 5 ratio is going to go and cuss out his team for not doing more... Freakin' Dumb*****.

2. If you need ammo, a ride, or a medic, you use the spot button. I don't know what the default is (mine is "B"), but if you aim at a friendly vehicle and press it (unless you're an engineer and the vehicle could use repair) your character will ask for a ride. Same works for ammo and medics, although a medic will see any teammate that needs health on his HUD, with a health bar and an med-kit icon next to his name.

Sometimes i spout off that I need ammo when I'm trying to hide. That's annoying and it's gotten me killed more than once. I would like to decide when my solider spouts off and what he spouts off. I needed ammo and I couldn't find an assault guy.
I kinda like the system of one button but it definitely needs some polish. Plus when I'm too far off to be of any help sometimes the spot spam kicks in and I can no longer warn teammates. Sometimes if enemy is too far away or behind cover it wont work at all. In 2142 a ? would come up when the system wasn't sure if you saw the enemy or not. At least teammates can investigate.

i dont have the actual game yet but i played the multiplayer demo for only two days ( the weekend that it was released) what is the matter with it trying to connect?
