Hi guys,

We have locked the Multiplayer Connection Issues - PC thread as it has become unwieldy. So please continue to post in this thread, Part 2.

I have quoted the most recent post below and provided a link to the locked thread for review.

Ohh why I didn't stay at COD. After all it worked much better than this piece of *

Is anything going to be done in order to remedy this? I for one cannot actually finish a game without getting thrown out with the Connection error...

since the last patch all pings in the server browser are displayed on 999. I have also got slightly more lag ingame but the ping is normal. What's wrong with latest patch. Im running on Windows 7 x64 and I've bought the game in a store.

This failure by EA is epic. I really thought I was going to like this game and bought it to play online. Total waist of my money since it cat be played.

Had I know about the connection issues I would not of bought this game, not that you care so long as the game sells right?
I have played the Battlefield games since BFV and have enjoyed them all until now
Just spent the last hour trying to play muliplayer
I DONT SPEND MY HARD EARNED CASH TO SIT WATCHING GAMES CRASH TO DESKTOP EVERY TIME I CONNECT TO A SERVER

I'm getting disconnected just a couple of minutes after I join a freaking server... What's making me get pissed is the fact the game was working just fine a week ago.
Help us, EA... We paid.

Twitter the community manager and tell him you won't buy DLC, Vietnam or BF3 until they fix the obscene number of bugs in BFBC2. That's the only thing they'll listen to. http://twitter.com/zh1nt0

I don't have twitter. F** I bought a game to play it, not to buy another one to get some fixes. Why they can't make as it was with BF2. best Battlefield game ever...

I'm another one of the victims... And I really tried everything...
Everything looks good until I try to connect to a server.
I get the usual 'Connection to the game server has been lost' message.

I've changed firewalls, I've changed to a router, I've forwarded all known ports... Nothing!
And yeah, that error keeps me from playing for WEEKS. I even formatted my pc in the meantime (Not because of that) and it still won't work.

It's getting boring... it's getting lame... At least I demand something like an official statement.
It's alright that there's issues. PCs aren't as easy to handle as consoles. But... nothing? That doesn't seem right.
I really do hope that there will be a fix for this in the near future...

I've sent zh1nt0 a message, but I think he's got a automated reply system on twitter. But it solved for me. Probably, some of my settings of my router did change at exact the same date as the update was. I've set all the settings to the default configuration and restart the router. (switched it off for 5 minutes and restarted)
Now I've got a ping of 24ms atr my favorite server. w00t!

For everywone who has got problems too:
First go to your start menu.
For Windows XP users: click Run and type in "cmd" (without the quotes)
For Windows Vista/7 user: you just type in "cmd" (without the quotes)
Then type: "ipconfig /all"
You will see somewhere (when you sroll up) "default gateway"
remember this: usually it will be 192.168.1.254
then scroll down again: and type in "ping 192.168.1.254"
If everything went right, you will se a ping of 1ms. (this is your router/modem)
then try this "ping google.com" or "ping [type a popular site without the www]"
if the ping for big sites if under 120ms everything is alright. I get with google just 30ms and with youtube 140ms.
If not and you get a packet loss then try to switch off your router and restart it.
