1. Memory corruption issue causes Tour events to disappear, general result is player cannot complete game. Many other problems stem from this issue, and cause much stress to all players. TW08 BUG NOT FIXED
2. Most of the "distance to pin" measurements from the tee are incorrect, and many are out by a large amount. TW08 BUG NOT FIXED
3. Commentary for K clubs par 5s and par 3 call the hole a par 4. TW08 BUG NOT FIXED
4. Female players cannot compete fairly against male players, because they do not have access to as many skill boosting items (clothing etc). TW08 BUG NOT FIXED
5. "Driving average" in "My Records" does not change when options setting "Metrec" is changed. TW08 BUG NOT FIXED
6. My Records shows 7 holes in one, yet I haven't won the "Aces Wild" trophy. TW08 BUG NOT FIXED
7. Changes made in pro shop do not trigger a profile save.
8. Changes made in club tuner trigger two profile saves - one is sufficient.
9. Holing out from off the green can result in msg "OUT OF BOUNDS", and receive a penalty shot. TW04/TW05/TW06/TW07/TW08 BUG NOT FIXED
10. TW Challenge matchplay matches end early due to miscalculation bug.
11. Commentary provides approx distance to pin in yards, regardless of "metric" options setting.
12. Putting commentary is completely wrong most of the time. Most putts the commentators describe as dead flat, just hit it straight. TW08 BUG NOT FIXED
13. Commentators refer to "hilite reel". This has been removed in TW09.
14. When exiting online mode, wii version sometimes locks up with black screen.
15. Online leaderboard sort arrows are mostly pointing wrong way.
16. Wii EA Servers regularly disconnect players without warning, based on time online and then penalise them with game loss and a "disconnect".
17. "Overall progress" in "My Career" is supposed to be percentage, but actually goes well over 100%. Mine is currently at 133%.
18. Every match I play online, I'm told by commentator "if you birdie this hole, you'll set a record". Online games NEVER set ANY records. I'm also told "If you can keep this shot on the fairway, you'll have the record". I'm also told "If you hit this green in regulation, you'll set a new record". I'm also told "If you make eagle here, you'll set a new record. I'm FED UP with hearing this, and it will never stop, because nothing is ever recorded for online games.
19. Being able to connect with specific people online is completely hit and miss. This is an EA issue, not an internet or user connection issue. Many people have purchased multiple copies of TW09 specifically to play online between friends, only to find out that this is impossible due to bugs.
20. Putting meter fails to show true power actually used in the shot.
21. Full shots fail to accurately show the actual power level used for the shot.
22. When selecting a course under ?Game Modes?, created game buttons start with ?EA Sports? title, which changes to custom course name as you scroll over it, and should go back to ?EA Sports? when you pass it. Sometimes, the button goes completely blank as you move the cursor off.
23. One of the animations shows the golfer patting his heart, normally when he achieves par in spite of getting into problems on the hole. Left handed golfers seem to have all animations mirror imaged. But left handed golfers are still supposed to have the heart on the left side!! TW08 BUG NOT FIXED
24. When playing a local game (not online) under game modes, what the ball does as it bounces on the green seems to change radically between the first round you play, and subsequent rounds. In PGA Tour, this does not seem to appear. It does not appear in online games either. TW08 BUG NOT FIXED
25. If you use the draw/fade handles to apply draw or fade, then swap clubs, the results seem to be unpredictable if you play using second club without resetting aim first.
26. If you change the loft of a club and then reset aim, the loft resets, but the graphic showing the loft of the club does not change.
27. If you change the loft of a club in pitch shot type, then change shot type to flop, the graphic showing the loft of the club does not change, whereas modifying loft of the club for a flop shot is not functionally possible.
28. For some shots, the camera view switches to ?from the pin?, which makes it very difficult to work out what spin to use. Happens often on Wolf Creek holes #10 and #17.
29. When mulligans is used, this seems to do also do an aim reset. Why??
30. When playing ?play offs? in PGA Tour, commentators sometimes comment ?even par for the day?, in spite of being possibly many shots under par. Seems to commence on fourth hole of second round.
31. Many announcements for approach shots seem to be selected at start of shot rather than at end. Comments such as ?should be a makeable putt after this one? after applying spin which put the ball into a sand trap. At other times, the comment suggests that the ball went into the hole, which isn?t necessarily true, particularly if spin was applied. These comments are heard after the ball stops, so game should definitely know the status at that time.
32. Commentators congratulate players on winning a four round play-off event, at end of 2nd and 3rd event, but not final event.
33. Comment ?Oh he?s missed it, by a long way? used after a missed putt is used at inappropriate times. I?ve heard it used when the ball came to rest on the cup edge.
34. Comment ?A nice little filet there? sometimes used on approaches where no spin was used at all.
35. When playing online as the ?blue player?, sometimes a blue arrow appears. It can be on the tee, or the fairway, or even in the air well above the fairway, and stationary.
36. Events ?coast to coast? at Kiawah Island and ?desert invitational? at tpc Scottsdale are out of sequence in the calendar. This causes the events to be skipped and locked out in the first year that they appear, which in turn prevents the player from completing all events in that year.
37. Commentary ?This needs to be crushed to reach the green, send for Tiger? is used even when Tiger Woods is playing.
38. When a putt is hit with too much power, TW09 sometimes comments ?slow down, bull flaps, rotate?. This was an incorrect translation of the TW08 commentary. The correct term is ?full flaps?, aircraft terminology used to slow the aircraft down when approaching the runway.
39. After a long drive, TW09 sometimes comments "I used to hit a ball that far. I know better now". This was an incorrect translation of the TW08 comment "I used to think I could hit a drive that far. I know better now".
40. When putting, sometimes the commentator repeats a previous comment, such as "around 110 yards to the pin more or less".
41. When an online round finishes, if one does not press the plus button within a minute or two, it is counted as a disconnect and a loss of game, regardless of the actual outcome of the round. How stupid is this?
changes: #42 added.
42. In "My resume", Scoring Average is inaccurate/unreliable. One of my profiles shows a scoring average of 50, which may be accurate, however the second profile shows a scoring average of 42, yet "Best Round" is apparently 48 in the same profile? Handicap seems to be affected by this problem, my second profile shows a handicap of +23 which is ridiculous.

Glen,
Add the changed item only from now on. I don't think we need numerous posts with the exact same information.
Thanks,
Tim

Tim,
my goal was to have as complete as list as possible in one spot to make it easy for anyone. If you need to read an entire thread then it gets messy and partially defeats the purpose. Is it possible to remove earlier posts?

Glen,
No problem with your intent. I think it is good. Unfortunately you can't remove posts after a certain amount of time I believe. If you wish, I can clean the thread up and remove repeated material, but leave edits and additions to the thread.

Tim,
That would be great if you could delete the earlier lists whenever you want.

Ok that was actually editing the latest list not deleting the earlier, redundant one. What I was after was me to post a full, up to date list when changes are necessary, and every so often you delete all earlier ones.

I would like to add one if if you think it is important. Several times when creating a game online, I have had that game completely cancelled because one of the players backed out just as I hit the "start game" icon. i.e. There are three or four players all with the "ready" green checkmark blinking. I hover over the "start game" and press A button. Just as I do that, it says "player has left game" and then it cancells the game for the rest of us who stayed. It has happened to me at least three times I can remember.

3 possible bugs that I found:
1) after winning all 4 majors the first year of eligibility, Tiger Woods comes on and congratulates you on winning the grand slam (after winning the PGA Tour Major Championship). Yet, every year that you win it after that, they show the video after you win the 3rd major for that year (UK Major Championship).
2) Player of the month for March
You can't win the player of the month for March until year 2013, even if you win all the tournaments for that month. I think that if all the tournaments don't fall in the same month, you can't win the player of the month. For example, if the Major @ TPC Scottsdale starts in March, but doesn't end until April, then you can't win the player of the month.
3) PDA always shows 4 or 5 majors won
When checking your PDA under objectives, it shows how many championships you've currently won. The max it will ever show is 5. When starting a new season, it goes back to 4 majors won. Even after winning all the majors for that year, it still shows that you've only won 5 majors. It would be nice to have it track how many majors you've actually won.

Glen,
Thanks for passing on this information. Each of these issues is being investigated directly by our development team, so feel free to continue to add to the thread if you run into anything else.

The information was meant for users. EA have had countless bug reports before and ignored them. The same bugs come up year after year. Noone will listen to "we are investigating this time" because we've heard it all before.
When the developers do swat some bugs, they are welcome to send me a copy of the latest build (for wii), and I'll test it and provide a report of bugs fixed in this forum. As it's likely to be alpha, I'm cool with ignoring any new bugs for now.
As EA have never been serious about action on bug reports, no doubt they'll have some excuse why they can't agree to above. None the less, they have a challenge on the table so let's see if there is any meat in their words this time.

raczilla-
Why dont you fix em before releasing a new game ?
I can see why EA is having money problems.
You have to pay all us beta testers....back.
This piece of duff has more bugs than a Georgia summer picnic.
