there is a newer driver 165.01 and TW07 works with no problems,no one is sure where this driver came from and there are not many links to it,most are from file sharers,do a web search and you should be able to find them or they may be on the main sites soon as they do work well.

here`s a link,not sure if this type of link is allowed here or how long the link will be active but TW07 does work with this driver.

TY for the info Carn.I'm buying a new ststem today so let me get this totally straight.Your saying that TW07 will work on the Vista operating platform after downloading this driver,is that correct?

I played four rounds yesterday on Vista with no problems.

When I first saw it I was wary but desperate, so I grabbed it and ran it through every virus detection software I have and it came up clean, so I set up a restore point and popped it in. Works like a dream, TW07 quit going blackscreen in between each hole and actually became stable enough to play a round. Do your tests on it if you want, but if you have both TW07, vista, and geforce nvidia vid card... you have to have this to stop TW07 from being a permenant dust cover to some part of your shelves.

its strange this driver works but the one nVidia released yesterday still produces the black screen every hole.

It definately works but unfortunately not with SLI. At least we can play the damn game properly in Vista for the first time!

There is a glitch..befiore playing a round make sure your settings-AA and anistrop[ic are set. if you tab out of the game and change the settings it chops like a mofo. Restart the game and it works like a charm!

there is a TW07 profile with the driver for the first time,you can set whatever way you want TW to run with the profile and it only loads the settings once the game starts.

Went to the site you posted. Being a fairly "newbie" to all this stuff, do I have to get the primium version or and I just download the freebie

just click on "free",on the next page enter the 4 letter code in the box and download.

are you using the DVD version? and what does the error message say?
