Does EASHL decision to only allow one game at a time effect your team?

I play on a community team of 25+ people.
We don't want to split up in separate teams to hang out and get games in.
By forcing us to break up, They take the fun out of the community enjoyment.
With everyone having separate log in times, the community allows us to play as we log in.
You take that aspect away, you basically take the mode away,
because we are not going to wait for 6 people to log in at the same exact time.

So play OTP. They're trying to make Club more competitive, which it needs to be.

I am on a similar team and we're all for the most part college students meaning we all sign on in the evening around the same time. We always play with at least 4 players on a team at a time and often have 3 or more teams going at one time.

Now, we will have to make new teams if we want to play at all if another squad is playing.

Translation - if one group is playing, a new team will be created EVERY NIGHT to make sure everyone can play together.

This also discourages the whole team progression/playoff system since a team that has been playing together and working well together will not be able to continue to do so.

How is this a good idea?

It stops people from having say 12 people on and running 2 6v6 and they do 6 2v2's instead basically cheating those who want to do 6v6 only.

Not well thought out at all.
This is an absolute idiotic mistake by EA.

They say it will promote 6v6 play, but all it will do is cause there to be more 2v2 teams.
Active teams that have 10+ players will be splitting up since they can only play one game at a time.

If anything, they should have made it so teams that win a game with 6 players get (a lot) more points in the standings as compared to a team that won a game with 2 players.

Yeah, even though I only play with a max of 4 people I can clearly see how this hurts the bigger teams a lot. Especially those competitive teams that coordinate so everyone gets on at the same time. I have to say I'm suprisedat EA for this. Maybe they could make fewer dressing rooms or something because this is clearly not going to be widely accepted.

Personally I'm glad about this change because I was in a small club who had pretty decent players but we could obviously could never compete because of the vast amount of games other clubs could play compared to us.

I have no problem with the EASHL as is, Aside from Glitchers/juicers...

And EA's willingness to NOT patch those problems more often.
