news to me. the earlier you press shoot the more likely you are to get the slap. doesn't matter how many times you press it in my opinion.

hehe, try it... was i wrong?

it probably works because in order to press it twice you have to start doing it sooner. the second up press is doing nothing. this is not rocket science.

Why did this thread lose it's sticky status? It was such a useful post. I sent hundreds of people to look at it to improve their game....

I didn't even know it used to be a sticky, but I have looked for these explanations of attributes off and on for the last couple of weeks. Would have been nice to have them available sooner and easier.

Sorry if this is covered somewhere, but have you released info on how fatigue affects players and lines? It's obvious that many stats degrade with fatigue, shot accuracy, speed, accel, etc., but to what degree? And do players have their own fatigue independent of the rest of the line? Sometimes I feel like I have someone on the ice for a while, maybe after a PP/PK, then there's a whistle, their line comes back and they aren't as tired. But I really can't be sure. Thanks in advance if anyone has answers on this.

Seeing as you have gone thru all other player attributes, what does poise do?

It's usually higher for veteran players and lower for rookies. Is it used at all?

thanks in advance.

Okay, I tried to read through as many pages as I could to see if my questions were referred to so I wouldn't be reposting already answered questions/inquiries. It doesn't look like it so here goes.. (Also, this is more of a 'what does the community think', rather than a direct question to RedShirt.. but his input would be appreciated)

I think that a good feature for next year would be to give older players more of an impact on the game. For instance, in my Kings Dynasty it doesn't matter if I trade Armstrong, O'Donnell, Handzus and all of the other older players for young studs and draft picks, I can still perform the same on the ice. What I would like is to something like this.. if I pair O'Donnell w/ Doughty or Jack Johnson maybe their poise goes up (under the table, so to speak), or they play better (in some way..).

Basically give the user an incentive or reason for keeping guys like Chris Gratton, Derek Armstrong, Donald Brasher and the like..

Also, I see a lot of players in the game where Center is their natural position or their permanent one and they have like a 55 or 60 face-off rating. This is just my opinion but someone that plays center, should at least be somewhat proficient at face-offs and someone like ... .. all the Centers on FLA's roster have terrible FO ratings.. Idk.. just my two cents.. Still love this game though.. looking forward to next year.

Thanks to RS for all his honest feedback on this forum! (Sorry about the long post)

Does anybody how to put your paddle down on the ice like the computer does when you play goalie . I can't just simply stop the puck when it is dumped in on me . My goalie will go into butterfly and it just bounces off him for a garbage rebound for someone or he'll try and cover it and bobble it or miss it. Please help me !!! Does anybody know ?

Does anyone know how to put the paddle of your stick down on the ice when your playing goalie . I just want to stop the puck when it is dumped in at me . Can only the computer do this animation like the cross ice or behind the net goalie poke check? I have been trying to figure this out for so long . I always give up a rebound or bobble the puck when I try and stop it in the butterfly . Someone please help

Haven't read through the whole thing yet. Any mention on what effect the "Poise" attribute does? I know it should make a player better under pressure but...

No more "poise" attribute?

(Sorry if this was already posted; I didn't look through the entire pages)
