I find it really hard to tell if it's changed or not, wish you could do it in-game I've got mine at 100.

yelp!! if you look at the post with the fov examples, when you increase your fov the object (the shack in this case) gets smaller, making anybody standing next to it smaller and harder to hit without going to your sights. i can move my mouse from side to side to compensate for the smaller fov but i can't make objects appear larger (45 setting).

what setting would u recommend for 24inch lcd? ive been running it on 80 since release.

I tried this, and It made my crosshairs line up too low. I had to put the top of the m14's rear sight on a person to get a hit from like 50+ yards

Does FOV works in new patch?? Cannot configure to work......

Just to make this a useful post... my settings editor allows changes to the FOV (along with other stuff) so you don't need to fiddle around in Notepad

edit: I've just been retesting with different FOV values, and I did find at one point the game decided (for no apparent reason) to reset to 1024x768 resolution, and when I jumped into a server it had also reverted to the default FOV, and written it back to the settings file... so do watch out for that.

I'm running at 1680x1050, and I found a FOV value of 65-75 seemed best... at 85 the view got noticeably fish-eyed.
I also noted that indeed things become quite a bit smaller, and therefore presumably harder to hit.
My framerate also dropped by 10-15% as I went from 55 up to 85

Couple of questions...

What's the purpose of changing the audio quality to "high?"

And can upping your FOV drop your performance in of itself? I'm wondering because I've had mine set to 78 but was thinking of dropping it to reduce lag when I'm in close quarters combat.

how do i change FOV in single player mode? i dont know if its in here cause theres like 15 pages of this and im not gonna go through all of it.
