I am currently unable to play the Super Sports Pack DLC on my second Xbox 360:
I have more than one 360 in my house. I am able to play Hot Pursuit online with both of them, but the Super Sports Pack DLC only works on my living room box.
On the Xbox in my office, I log into the same gamertag on Xbox Live, but my content is missing. I have gone into my download history and re-downloaded both the 1.1 update and the Super Sports DLC, but I don't see the new red DLC tracks at all. I've tried going into the memory on that machine and deleting both the 1.1 and the Super Sports pack, then I tried downloading it a 2nd time. Still, even after downloading again....those tracks and cars don't show up on that Xbox.
I swap between both boxes frequently (depending on who might be watching TV in the living room at the time)....so I'd really like to be able to use the content I paid for on both Xboxes.
Does this content only work on the first Xbox you download it on, or is there a way to make this work?
yes you can only have the content on ONE xbox360 (unless you buy it again for the second) there was a time you could just use your GT on mem. stick(card at that time) and do this after new update something stop this from working; try using a 4GB or higher(would be better if higher) put your GT profile on that and your game content, that should fix that issue, if not then XBL put a stop to using DLC'S on a console it wasn't org. DL to. or try a GT recovery on your second box might give you permission for both boxes(use this act at your own risk, just may transfer permission to the second one and remove it from the other one 'causing the same issue)
I appreciate your attempt to assist me, but unfortunately...that doesn't work.
Also, the update doesn't seem to have anything to do with this, as I can (and still do) use downloaded content on any Xbox I choose, so long as I am logged into Xbox Live with the account that purchased it.
I do this several times a week, because I'm never sure which Xbox I'll be playing on. This evening, my wife was interested in watching something on the living room TV that I didn't feel like watching, so I came into my office to play some Need for Speed on my second Xbox. I noticed this problem again.
I have verified that I can still log into Xbox Live Arcade games, Halo Map Packs and even the Mass Effect DLC...all of it purchased on another console with my same gamertag. You name it, it works...except for the Super Sports Pack for Need for Speed.
I frequently swap between these two Xboxes, and this is the first time I've ever encountered something like this.
Still hoping to see a response from EA on this one...

OK I have two copy's of this game. One for my XBox 360, and one for my kids. My thought was that I could race my kids in a private match, pull them over etc-. I also bought all of the downloads for my kids and myself. So I do have some coin invested here.
However when we try to do a private match my kids and I cannot play. A message briefly pops up stating something to the fact that one of us is running a different version of the game. How so? Can anyone help me or has anyone having the same issue? Were you able to get it resolved? Thank you in advance.

Surprisingly enough that more people have had problems with the update since before updating the game, which should have been done automatically when loading the game, but before the update i was lvl 10 cop and lvl 9 racer and progress was saved. After the update autosave doesnt work and deletes all your saved progress. The only reason to updating was to play online vs my friends but whats the point when you start the game and have to start your career all over again. But, yet again even deleting the update still no progress is saved. If an EA representative cannot answer our questions whats the point of posting on an EA website forum for questions about a game they helped create but have no answers for the general public about this game. Frustrating as it is I would still love to play the game just not having to start over every time I want to play. So, I ask EA or any reps they have try to make an update that automattically downloads when u start the game plus check into the autosave feat that doesnt work. thnk you.

Heh, this is sad and not even on topic. Bored of racing fast cars? Nobody likes someone who just plays for achievements

I can give to a moderator more detalies if he want to help me!
Thank you! Have a nice day!
The online pass only works once so if Cora SRL already used it, you're going to have to buy the online pass from EA.
EA is getting greedy and doesn't want companies like GameStop selling used copies of their games because it cuts into their profit line.

Honestly...this is why I don't like EA games on the XBox. The whole crap with, "Hey...you want a patch? Oh, well, instead of updating the game like a normal person...go to the marketplace and DOWNLOAD the Update. Start Up based updates are sooooo out of style. Trust us...we're EA"

I've had Bowel movements more impressive than Dead Space 2's Multiplayer. |

Pro Tip, Criterion and EA: Make Title Updates like this, Mandatory at game Start up like EVERY OTHER GAME ON THE XBOX 360! The game is dead with patch installed.

Hey the multiplayer events (I feel) really fragment the audience playing Hot Pursuit online since there are several options for events then furthermore fragmenting the audience by separating it into car classes. Why not for the next patch throw everyone who is closely skilled into an 8-player lobby where choices can come up and the people vote on what they want to play ala Halo:Reach?

Yesterday I was playing Hot Pursuit on Xbox Live. I had shaken off the cops by driving oncoming on the highway. A roadblock was ahead, in the tunnel. As it only blocked half of the oncoming road, I drove past it easily, smiling to myself. Then, OUT OF THIN AIR, a traffic car spawns RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, crashing me Costing me my victory.

Has anyone else noticed that this is quite possibly the worst NFS title ever? I mean shift was bad, but this is on a whole new level of horrible racing game. The cars don't stop turning. every turn is an anticipated pinball game. The faster and more exotic the car, the worse it gets. I manage to complete the goal of whatever it is I'm supposed to be doing, but good god. It's a game. I'm supposed to be having fun. All i can think about is the money i wasted when i bought this game.
EA. I want my money back.

Once you learn that this is an Arcade racing game with a drift mechanic you'll be fine. Drift can be triggered in 3 different ways and allows you to maintain a high speed around even the tightest of bends.
- Don't let go of the throttle as you approach a turn, then when you start turning tap the e-brake and the car will turn in slightly and enter the drift state - there are other ways to enter the drift state but you will find tapping the e-brake the easiest.
- While drifting the car will naturally 'steer' you around the corner without any steering input from you. You can adjust how tight you are turning by steering into or out of the drift.
- As you exit the turn straighten the car slowly and in a controlled way to regain any speed you lost while turning.
There are several examples of Arcade driving games which have used a very forced drift state to corner - Outrun, Ridge Racer, and of course Criterion's other racer Burnout.
Don't give up on it just yet ZMANY2K as the high speed drifting is what makes this game fun.
