Ok found out everything works fine after installing origin and staying logged in..
No more network connection issues even after rebooting pc
hope this helps everyone also cos it was damn * annoying as *

Nope, always play through Origin at present. Now the game is also doing the odd CTD in the middle of a match.

battlefield is a great game, however like many on this forum i`m also having these errors, the first was you`re connection has been lost,
the next was punk buster kicked you corrupt file memory (85000) ....after doing the punk buster patch i had one trouble free game  , the next day i logged in and the game ran for about 30 seconds , then connection was terminated, i received the next error, punkbuster kicked you no packet flow, i`ve checked my firewall settings from what i can see it all looks good, tried the punkbuster patch again and again, really getting tired of these problems, the delete button might not be too far down the track  .

tried again earlier tonight, got a different error, tried turning off anti virus program beforehand to no avail.............
error code. punkbuster kicked player ignoring queries #9006

Downloaded an Origin update last night (the one including Cloud synchronisation). Now I can connect to servers no problem at all. Hmmm...........

I have the same problem here. Also one additional problems ocurred since I played last time. Some md5tool doesn't respond and then I am getting kicked off the server..... oh man.
Prior to reading this I temporarily switched of my desktop firewall plus configured my internal IP to be in a DMZ on the router. No success. I updated PB manually. No success...... Origin update will be without an effect because I have BC2 not in Origin. I hope the Browsergame, sorry, BF3 won't have similiar problems.
Anyone have the same problem and maybe a solution to this?

I play fifa 12 and on head to head season it keeps saying that...it really is annoying

After the last update I am also getting the connection problem. While the game is trying to connect to a server I receive the message "connection to the game server has been lost, please try again".
If I try to connect to a server where someone is place in the queue and where I am placed second in the queue the game connects to the server. If there is no one in a server like there are 32 slots and only 30 players are connect I cant connect and get the message "connection to the game server has been lost.........."
I am getting this message after the last patch.

yeah, i gave it a try again tonight, got connected , then 2 minutes later got kicked with error code punk buster wont answer queerie, or something close to that effect, my brother seems to think a full reload of the game might be a winner, i`m waiting for close to the end of the month so it does`nt matter if i use all my bandwidth and will give it a try...............good luck guys.

I solved the connection problem. I used someones wireless internet connection that which wasn't protected. Immediately I noticed that I could connect to all servers! So I decided to forward the ports that are necessary to play Bad Company 2. Now is everything working proper!!! I can connect to all servers without getting the message that the connection to the server has been lost. Ports I have forwarded are as follows:
10000, 13505, 18390, 18395 all are TCP/UDP

I just got BC2 and I'm having the exact same problem, and it really pisses me off.
No amount of port forwarding I try seems to fix the problem....

Portforwarding doesn't help at all and I re-installed the game but nothing helps.
I still get the message "Connection to the EA profile servers is lost"

I got my connection problems solved.
Turns out the latest firmware update for my router contained a fix for disconnect issues in Battlefield and other games.
After updating I have not had a single disconnect since, even without any port forwarding.
