I will submit my one start\submit score too. Lets see what members do with one try.

I would suggest a new thread strictly for scores.

I will sign up as a "stock EA clubs" player. I won't have the low numbers as most but maybe others with the same can sign up also. Tourney within a tourney? Hickory shafts and a featherie, and I will show up for the pro-am on time.

Thank you all for your participation. We will be using this thread to record scores as posted. I will be keeping track and posting final scores as the tourny comes to a close.

Some of us are going to get reamed because of the wind and some of us are going to get lucky with the wind. Let the chips fall where they may. This is just a message to EA that we want more level playing fields.

Good luck this weekend, have fun and help send the message.

Interesting idea Mr Vardon, think I'll join you with my alter ego Allan Robertson with default clubs and limited attributes, might be enjoyable playing with my real skills rather than the artifically provided EA skills.

I think so Maverick....I tried it last week but i was buried so deep with my -18,-18,-17,-19 that ya know it was impossible to gauge the competition. If we could get a bunch of us to play like we have been with stock equipment, it is a much more fun showcase of skill and takes a little luck of the bounce, especially with the one entry only....like the old days....

Ya'll know who ya are....now sign up!!!

-18's

my rounds last week of -6 were not competitive but much more realistic, try it with only 90K spent in the swing trainer and no putting grid.

yes you are right mav, it definitely depends on how much ya have spent on the swing trainer. Its just I have a lot of fun with stock equip, and played it now steadily for well over a month it seems addictive and I got greedy But there are a lot of players with low built swing trainers that could have fun just giving it a "good ole college try".

Seems some of us were able to accomplish what Greg Rinaldi asked about 10 months ago, how to make the game more challenging and still keep it fun, we have found how to make the game very challenging and MORE fun!
