There needs to be a patch put out at the end of the year to give the game a little update for rosters and player abilities. For instance the Iowa Hawkeyes were very good this year and they have 5 players that aren't playing in the right spots and their abilities or attributes are very poor for some top talent players. For instance Marvin McNutt is a WR who is Iowa's second wr this year and he is the bottom reciever like 68 rating, Brandon Wegher and Adam Robinson were their starting RB and both of them have wrong numbers and are grossly under estimated in attributes. I don't think this would take much work and I even have an update from another gamer which is almost perferct but I can't use it when I play online because you need to make a new patch for us. Please take this into consideration and if you want my roster to look it over I'm more than willing to let you check it out. Thanks, also this would make the game fresh again to us gamers who have been playing with wrong rosters for the whole season.

thanks

I totally agree with this one. The ability gap between A+ teams and B+ teams is horrible in NCAA series for a long time now. As the season progresses, some of the top dogs end up being mangy mutts, and a lot of unranked teams rise to the top. Not to mention there's the MAJOR annoyance of seeing IMPACT players mid season arent even starters on EA's roster, or they're playing the wrong position.

EA likes to make their favorite teams horribly overpowered.. ie the A+ cool kid crowd.. Florida, USC... every damn year. Every damn player you meet online LOVES to play Florida(and all the other A+ schools), even though they probably couldnt point out Gainsville, Florida on the map. The less powerful teams that still have quite a bit of potential are given the shaft. Try playing online as Stanford against someone playing with USC... lol. Stanford stomped USCs guts out, good luck online trying to do the same. Try the same with Oregon State... IDK what the problem is, the last couple years USC's been blown out of the water by lesser, or even UNRANKED teams, yet they're A++ the last 2 years on EA's ratings. I suspect one of the lead developers went to USC.

I know I've rambled on a bit too much about USC, but they're just one example of the many top ranked teams in NCAA 10 that are horribly over rated as far as stats go.

I dont think ANY team should get the stats teamwide to achieve A+ status. These teams are too horribly overpowered in NCAA 10, 09... The skill margin between A, B and C ranked teams is too bloody outrageous. Higher ranked teams D linemen must have 4.0 .. forty run times, because they chase down my 4.3 and 4.4 forty RBs on lesser ranked teams all the time(from behind, not using pursuit angles)

Updating roster's about mid season would help somewhat to alleviate this problem, but EA still needs to close the skill gap stats wise between the top rated schools, and lesser and unranked schools.

ea cannot do updated rosters for any ncaa game as it would require them to admit the players in the game are based off of their real life counterparts.

If they cant do and update on the rosters how did they do it just before the season started, Iowa for instance was a C when the game first came out and before the season they made a patch update to make them a B. If EA can't do it there are plenty of people/ companies out there that could and they (EA) could just let us upload the new roster and use it. I'm very frustrated with this, everyone has there favorite team and when the numbers of starters are wrong and the players are at wrong positions you don't even want to use your favorite team, we pay $50-60 dollars for a game that is wrong and we can't do anything to correct it? COME ON MAN!!!!!!
the reason for that patch was because the wrong roster file was printed on the game. when it was announced that the rosters on teambuilder were the ones that were going to be on the game, a large number of people voiced their concerns to ea because there were hardly any freshman on those rosters...not to mention guys that had graduated but still on the game. this being said, when ea found out about all these complaints, they looked into the issue and found that the wrong roster file was used (think version 1.5 being submitted instead of final-version 6.2). it was a simple mistake, but one that shouldnt have happened.

any sort of player rating update on any ncaa title cannot happen. as i said above, it would require ea to admit the players in their college video games are based off of real people. doing so, would mean that ea is profitting off of those players's likeness and image. yet because no player for any college team signed a written agreement with ea that ea could use his/her image, it would be determined that ea used those said images/likenesses illegally and would thus be required to pay every college player in every ncaa sports game ever released. since those college players would then have received payment for their image, they would no longer be considered amateur sports players. because of this, you could probably assume that the ncaa would get involved and maybe sue ea; which would probably mean the end of any college sports game. for further info, google "sam keller lawsuit vs ea sports"

so as you see, the potential threat of a lawsuit can all be avoided by not doing updated ratings. ncaa basketball gets around this issue by updating the team stats, and not the ratings of individual players.

I have been buying NCAA Football every year, and past 2 years on both 360 and ps3. I strongly believe every year the game is alot better than the previous year. There are some things I keep wishing for, and its the same for alot of other loyal NCAA friends.

1. Please increase the roster limit to 85. That is the number one thing I have always hoped to be added in the newest additions. With a 70 roster limit, you can not set up a complete depth chart, do not have the luxury of of redshirting players, and every year there is atleast 10-15 players on a team that will contribute higghly in the season that did not even make the game. And with this option, increase the fatigued factor on every player, so depth really matters in the game. This way you can wear down an opponents defense completely in the 4th Quarter and win the game.

2. Please add the 3-4 defense depth chart. I would love to have a Jack, Mike, Will, and Sam linebackers positions, and same with DBs by having a nickel position, WRs should have slot positions. This will make the game unlike any other, and become more challenging.

3. Formation subs and create your own playbook. It takes me weeks to find a playbook that closely resembles the type of playbook I run. I love the heavy ace, slot ace, multiple pistol, WildCat and Bobcat, and multiple shotguns.

These are the 3 things I really think should be added in ncaa football that will make this game by far the best sports and football games ever.

Just a couple of thoughts I wanted to share about NCAA 10... First of all, it is an awesome game overall. I'm glad you fixed many of the bugs from last year.
In my opinion, it would be a popular choice if your development team spent a large majority of your time and resources for the next game on improving the realism and accuracy of actual game play, instead of on features that aren't contributing to the football sim experience.
The following are some items that I feel need some tweaking.
When an offensive player goes out of bounds while carrying the ball, the game clock should stop. In the game, sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't.
I think it should be easier to get a pass to go over the reach of a defender and come down into the hands of a receiver when your receiver has the defender beat and is open, and the pass is well timed and otherwise accurate... too often the ball either lobs way high and the defender catches up to it at the same time as the receiver, or the pass is so low that the defender has a better shot at it than the receiver. I know that I practice this over and over and even when I do it "right", too often the defender can get to the ball when he is clearly beat on the route by the receiver.
When running a Goal line formation, QB sneak, the QB will dive even when there is an open hole to run through, and he needs a couple more yards to get the first down. This is not realistic.
It would be very helpful if you could see the first down line in instant replays. Also, especially for the purpose of using the Coaches Challenge feature, there should be first down markers on the sidelines that are visible during a play, and even during instant replays. I personally would like to see the First and Ten chains and "down" markers as well... but we should at least be able to see markers for the line of scrimmage and first down markers. How else can you determine whether or not to risk using one of your Coaches Challenges ?
I don't like the fact that every Fourth down the menu reverts automatically to "Ask Corso" mode. This wouldn't be so bad if there were a reasonable variety of choices, but (on PS3, anyway) you often get a menu page with 4 of the same play, and when you change pages, it is just more of the same. And if it is 4th and long, and you want to call a Special Teams play like Punt Return, Safe Zone because you think your opponent might call a Fake Punt, then that play and other relevant plays should be on the menu. There should be an option to disable the automatic switch to Ask Corso on 4th down, so you can just pick the formation like on other downs.
Please bring back the Formation Substitution Menu.
Also, in the Audible menu... It would be helpful if you could see a picture of the formations as you scroll through the names of the formations.
I really enjoyed the Season Showdown and Teambuilder Features. Didn't get into the Road to Glory or Campus Legend Features... Just doesn't interest me or have much to do with playing football, in my opinion. I like the Dynasty Mode, but I think that Recruiting requires too much time. It's OK if a person chooses to delve in that deep, but it should have more options to simplify or expedite the recruiting and set up the CPU to do more for you without so much input by the user if they so desire, without paying too high a penalty on the results of the recruiting.
Thank you for the opportunity to post our feedback and suggestions. Keep up the good work.
Sincerely, HuskerKP

With all the rumors of the Big Ten expanding running around it would be nice to have a feature that allows you to change up confernces. You use to be able to switch up team in each conference but I'd like to see the option of changing up number of teams and adding a conference championship game.

It would be awesome if you earned money from your bowl appearances and TV appearances for your team and conference and you could use it to upgrade facilities, add seating capacity, etc.

I want the triple option out of the I formation back as an offense. Plus blockers that block a Qb that can throw out of a sack or at least ground it so it isn't an Int. Not to have to pay for extras unless it was a Roster I would pay for that but to pay for recruiting and player advance is stupid I bought the game and play the game why do I have to pay to make my guys better Online dynasties where you don't lose hours during off season recruiting have gone into a week where I had only used 8 hrs then got stuck the next three weeks with two hours per week to recruit. I like most love the game and look forward to a purchase it every year have ever since it came out (my wife thanks you for that)

NCAA 2011 would be a lot more fun if the commentators would recognize more (FCS) schools, fictitious schools and not just the Nick Names.
If I create the Delaware State Blue Hens, it ought to be able to say the full name of the university. I know this could probably be a programming nightmare, to have voice recognition of any letters strung together but if code can be written so that every state and every capital city of states can be recognized this would go along way to solving the problem. Also add in certain key terms such as "STATE" "and directions "North", "East" etc.. Also make sure the commentary recognizes all of the basic colors "Blue" and "Black" etc..

If I want to create a completely fictituos university located in my home state of New Hampshire, I could put the state name (scroll menu) and capital city name (dropped down box) in Team builder. i.e. (capital = Concord).
Also I can pick whether I wanted to add a direction to the name (i.e. North or West). I then can be given the option to add (State) after the name.
So if I choose "North + Concord + State", the game automatically recognizes the school as North Concord State, so that when I am playing a game it doesn't say the "Home Team". If my nick name is the "Black +Huskies", it ought to recognize that also as Black Huskies.
I know this can be programmed into the system fairly easy. Given the popularity of team builder, if you add this dimension, 2011 will fly off the shelves.

So many great feedback posts! I don't know where to start.. I guess I'm in the same camp as those that want more customability with players/teams. Now, the TeamBuilder set up is the best thing to ever happen in any sports game, period.. But I believe NCAA 11 (and hopefully the rest of the sports titles) can take advantage of expanding that awesome tool. Like, Create-a-Student/Player. I like having hundreds of options when creating a player. I think having their photo (when you are looking at the roster, etc) should be more college like (meaning, have them dressed up in team colored suits/ties or athletic gear) and even pop up a picture of them when the stats 'ticker' runs along the bottom of the screen. I love having eye black on my created players. And an option of a few different mouthguards would be nice, too. On the same note of TeamBuilder, I think being able to create your own stadium from scratch (like in the 2ndGen consoles' of Madden/NCAA) would be ELITE. Also, the ability to start with a small cupcake school with a stadium that holds 15-20 thousand people and build up the program/school to expand every certain number of years or with funds gained by the programs success would blow the game up, IMO. Also, on the same note.. I love what the programers/developers have done with all the custom teams' nicknames being broadcasted by Nessler.. But what about created players names'? I know their was a site back in '09 to submit your name.. what happened to that? Will it return for NCAA 11? I would LOVE to hear some of my friends' and my names in the game.

I love all the stuff people are saying about more customizable rosters/depth charts. I hear those changes are happening. That's great. How about customizable conferences? Like, not just swapping teams out (permanent 11 teams in the Big Ten, etc) but actually EXPANDING the conferences? And when a conference gets 12 or 14 teams, they have the option of getting their championship game. If a conference doesn't replace a team that has moved, they lose their championship game.

Game visuals are a big thing.. and not seeing refs on the field was kinda a bummer. I missed using the ref as another blocker when making a big play.. lol Also, I loved the coach shots. Bring back the coaches, please!! I also loved seeing fans and their signs! To me, that's what makes college ball so great.. seeing the college kids dress up crazy/whatever and having hilarious signs and interacting with the mascots and such. I would LOVE to see that stuff!

That's all I can think of at the moment.. Keep up the great work!

Please add the All Teams back in the game. I missed playing as Emmitt Smith, Jevon Kearse, etc. I would also like to see the teams like the early 2000 Miami Hurricanes. I really miss this feature and would love to see it in the new game. Also, I'd like to still play as Tim Tebow!

Oh yeah, stop making USC this unstoppable program...They are highly overrated in a mediocre conference at best. The SEC, & Big Twelve are the most dominant. Before the mid 2000s the ACC was dominate.

Thanks

Athletes should able to stay athletes without having to have a permenant position. Albeit their development may not get that much better over the years at any given position...ie Devin Hester at Miami. Allow teams to develop new rivalries over the years and/or choose new rivalries every year because when you switch teams out of their conference they lose rivalries plus we like to add our friends as rivalries in online dynasty. At least swap the rivalries with different teams. Not being able to do that also hurts recruiting. The commissioner should be able to add and substract teams in and out of the confrence every year because you add and lose members and new members to your dynasty are stuck playing with teams they don't like if everyone is playing in one or two conferences. THE WORST PART OF THE GAME: people pick quarter defense and stop your run game when you are in I-formation (a run set). the offense has 8 in the box including the ball carrier has 4 (3DL and 1LB). they use the little run strategy thing and stop your run way too much. that is just not football. People also put DB's at DL and use them to rush the edge. This is also not football and a 180lb DB should be getting crushed when getting blocked by 300lb lineman yet they just run around everything all the time or actually defeat blocks. If someone does that the offense should at least be able to exploit the DB on run plays like he gets crushed everytime when he is a DL position and it is a run.

PS3- In order to help out ur users with these disconnect problems...PLEASE ADD THE IN GAME SAVE OPTION!!!!!!! When someone is kicked out of a dynasty user vs user game, this allows the user that did not get kicked off to save the the game where it is and the two users can pick up where they left off. THAT WOULD HELP SO MUCH.

I noticed while playing a bowl game in the Boise State stadium that the endzones are as if they were on a green field. I was thinking that it could be possible to put the logo on the smurf turf. Thanks.

Here are some things that I did not see in the screen shots for NCAA Football 11 that would be a nice addition to NCAA Football 12

- more realistic sidelines, more people on the sidelines ex. ( more refs, reporters, fans, bands etc.)
- realistic coaches ex. ( Jim Tressel, Urban Meyer, Mack Brown, Joe Paterno etc.)
- long hair ex. ( dreadlocks, long curly hair, long straight hair like A.J. Hawk )
- SEC on CBS Presentation like on NCAA basketball 10
- better fan reaction like NCAA Basketball 10
- Bowl Patches

You can't stop me.
