I downloaded and installed both the Highland course and the favourites pack, but when I access TW11 I can't find them anywhere.
I'm sure I'm missing the obvious here, but any help appreciated.
Cheers
Neil

If you are on PS3, it is my understanding that you have to install them first. After installing, go to Play Now and scroll through the list to find your courses. You can play these courses in every mode except Career Mode.

Thanks, but the PS3 downloads and installs the courses. The Highland course appears in the "game data" directory, so its there, but doesn't show in the programme.
Cheers

Select "Play Now", then scroll through the course choices.

If you are seeing the Highlands course in the game data section, it has not been installed. I think you have to click on it, press the triangle or X button and then choose install. When all courses are installed on the PS3 you should not see any course names in the game data section.

Thanks for the suggestions.
The only options under "Game Data Utility" folder are delete and information. Pressing information just gives you the size of the file; there is no install option.
Thinking maybe there was a problem with the original install I finally pressed delete to delete the file and try again.
I have now downloaded the file again from PSN; after the download is complete it then automatically installs the file. When finished it says "install complete".
So I start up TW11 and go to "play now", click on courses and rotate through all the courses, and the Highland course is still not there. Again I check the "Game Data Utility" folder, and the 137MB file is back there, but still the only options are to delete or retrieve information as before.
I bought many courses for TW10 and they all installed without problem. TW11 seems to go through the same process as TW10, but the courses don't appear in the game for some reason.
Any more suggestions appreciated
Cheers
Neil

Did you try just hitting the X button, rather than looking at the triangle options menu? I know when I downloaded some courses a while back. some of them did not install automatically, and I had to do it manually. Another thing, unlike TW10, the DLC courses are not all added at the end of the list of in game courses. They are in amongst the rest of the courses. I assume you have scanned the whole list of courses and not just looked at the end of the list.

Hi gsd9999,
I tried hitting the O button (the X button on my PS3 just takes you up a directory level, O is the action button (Hong Kong machine)) but it doesn't do anything. I had also scrolled through all the courses under play now and it still isn't there.
I agree the course shouldn't appear in the Game Data Utility, it's almost like the PS3 thinks it's a game rather than a course !!!, but I'm at a loss to know why it's doing this.
Cheers

At last I found out the problem with the courses.
I am resident in UK, but currently living and working in HK. So I buy my legitimate software in HK, but am still tied to UK PSN store. Apparently although the games are region free, this doesn't apply to DLC (why not?), although it doesn't tell you this for TW11 courses on UK store when you download them.
I registered with HK PSN store and downloaded the same Highland course and it works fine (AND it does tell you it is region coded on the HK store before you download). My issues are (1) I have wasted 15UKP on some useless courses and (2) the multi courses pack is not available on the HK site , and (3) why doesn't sony warn you content is region coded before you pay money and spend many hours trying to work out why it doesn't work.
The strange thing is, over the past few years, I have often downloaded DLC from UK site in the past and used with games purchased in Australia and HK before with no problem; is this a new "feature", designed to reduce sony's losses by stealing peoples money ?
Cheers
Neil

Hello,
I have the same problem with TW10 and the courses. But for me I bought the game (DVD) in US and I downloaded the courses from German PSN.
Do you think this is the problem? Different regions?
If this is the problem, How could I manage to play the game with the new courses?
Thanks in advanced.
Anderson

Yes I think you have the same problem. I remember in TW09 I bought a course in the US store since it were not yet released in EU store, and since I had the EU version of the game it did not show up in the game.

I agree this whole thing is a bit silly; I've paid for a legitimate game (which Sony tell me is Region free), then I buy legitimate DLC and it doesn't work (because Sony DON'T TELL ME DLC is NOT region free !!). Then I am told there is no way to get my money back from UK PSN !!!
Someone must be very happy to earn money from people by witholding information and it must be a good little earner for whoever.
How much would it cost to put a statement on the UK PSN download page to say it will only work with xxx region; why don't they ? draw your own conclusions. If HK PSN is capable of doing it, then it can't be rocket science for UK !! I know the recession has hit the UK hard but ...........
Cheers
