Need for Speed Racing Games

I honestly dont care if they make an UG3 or not, but id definitely buy it since im not a fan of Hot Persuit or Professional racing as much as i am of Street Racing... Though in my opinion UG1 sucked, and all the NFS before UG2 and after just blowed. I recently got Shift and wasnt too happy about it. It just bores the crap outta me. I *MIGHT* consider buying Hot Persuit 3.... when its $17.99 used. Not saying EA is wrong for doing this, cause there are a lot of Hot Persuit fans out there and thats great for them, but they should at least make just one more UnderGround 3 game for those UnderGround fans after Hot Persuit...

Oh, and if youre just gonna reply to this disagreeing with me or implying that im like 11 years old or just to talk smack, then dont waist your time. This is just my opinion. in fact, i might just be older than a lot of you. So implying that there should be an UG3 doesnt mean youre freaking 11. grow up. bye now, thanks for reading.

I respect your opinion, however, I don't think that need for speed is the series to play for street racing. We may very well be at the end of the street racing era for video games. Midnight club, AFAIK, won't be created by rockstar if a sequel shows up. EA is going back and forth with different companies to make their mainstream console games, each making a game close to what ever usually release with a need for speed title. It took 7 years of people wanting a hot pursuit return, and need for speed world is around the corner. I wouldn't expect underground-like games to come back for awhile.

Summary: the physics are NOT very arcade-like. The cars feel a bit heavier than burnout, and cars don't instantly get sideways for drifting. F430 and GT-R are shown outside. F430 the next possible ferrari? Cops can wreck their own cars.

I'm so glad that the physics have some simulation aspects involved. It may actually take some skill to escape and bust your opponents.

I love NFS mostly Most Wanted...Driving MANUAL and not automatic

automatic and manual is NOT the same feeling..MOSLTY in a NFS game.

i love lambos...AND * NO i aint driving one automatic...

and wtf is up with all the "futuristic" ghost recon almost HUDs ?!?!?! Most Wanted HUD was so nice....

im just * pissed off of things like that about games.little details that can screw it all..

guess if its automatics abuse we should call it "Burnout:Hot Pursuit Auto's"

no burnout game yet as manual shifting....so add burnout in NFS = no more nice manual shifting feeling?...

im maybe in "rage" mose but i dont want it to be like that.yes its a "demo" we see but still no gears on HUD isnt a good sign...

Just because it doesn't show the gears or anything doesn't mean there isn't Manual, Plus Burnout 1-3 did have manual shifting just so you know but really it doesn't need to show.. manual shifting is something you learn to know to do, I've never had to look down too see what gear I'm in or anything.

Plus the HUD is pretty much best it can be, how/where else would they place the GPS map, weapon/equipment display and the such.

Well ok didnt know first burnouts had manual..i cant remember...and yeah the HUD like the power-ups they could have done like in HP2 simply.but i hope ur right and manual shifting is gonna be here at least but not showing gears...but like i said..this isnt a good sign...as for speed-o-meter i like to see the needle goes up as i press gas and gears even if i never look at it...now it needs to be confirmed -_-'

First the pics on twitter, and now this. Man they're such a tease, just tell us if Ferrari is in or not.

I don't really care about if the Ferrari's show up in this game i just want it to be like the old HP's. the specific cars in the game don't really matter, as long as the gameplay is good. my ideal game would be NFS3 w/ better graphics.

Like I said, if Ferrari can't be in the game because of licensing issues, I'll be happy if there's a Maserati or two. The MC12 Corsa uses the same engine and transmission as the Enzo Ferrari, after all.


God, I hope someone at Criterion is reading this.

I also want to see some of the cars from Hot Pursuit 1 and 2, like the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR.

The Agera is far too new for it to appear in the game, however if they put in the Trevita which was released last fall,(so it has had enough time to be in the game) and has the same everything as the CCXR which means it has enough power to beat any Veyron including the super-sport. anyway, the hp doesn't matter considering that the Koenigseggs are 1/2 the weight.
